18.01.2022 Core is king! Warrior 2 is such a pose! It works the entire body and requires focus and resilience. Give it a try with us.... Stand in mountain pose Take a nice wide stance with your feet Turn your left foot to face the front of your mat/room Lift your arms to shoulder height Fingertips reaching away from each other to infinity Keep your right leg nice and long (without locking the knee) Bend the left knee over the left ankle Think about the left knee gently opening towards the little toe of the left foot (so it does not roll inward) Take your gaze over and beyond your left fingertips Keep your shoulders relaxed and moving away from your ears Be long through your body, reach through the crown of your head Keep your torso upright, do not be tempted to lean forward Channel your inner warrior, your strength, even let out a war cry! Repeat on the other side #bluearth #bluearthfoundation #activekidsarehappykids #australianschools #movewithus #australiancharity #mindfulness #movewell #livewell #moveyourbody #healthykids #kidsyoga #warriorpose See more

17.01.2022 Bluearth still getting delivered to our schools that we can’t get into for face to face coaching.

16.01.2022 This week all of our coaches are back in some schools doing face to face coaching. We have enjoyed experiencing coaching in a new way whilst online but we are all excited to see our schools again! If your school is interested in having Bluearth a part of it get in contact. @bluearth_foundation #bluearthfoundation #activeschoolsprogram #leadershipprogram #mindfulness #movement #waggawagga #nsw

04.01.2022 Fresh air, space and movement, fantastic combo. Bluearth uses movement as a tool to engage students and coach them and teachers about physical literacy. @bluearth_foundation

04.01.2022 I like to get involved with Bluearth to show my students that I am on the journey with them. I love that Bluearth allows us to be competitive without the need for a ‘winner’. We use so many of the Bluearth activities we learn with Sarah during our learning and break time to get the body and mind moving. Each activity can been easily adapted according to age, size and available space. 04.01.2022 We love seeing our Bluearth program in action!!!

02.01.2022 Coordination and Agility. In a recent post, we spoke about balance. We find that balance, coordination and agility are three skills that compliment each other a...nd provide a solid foundation for any practice. Here our coach is leading the class through some drills with cones that requires the children to move at different speeds, in different directions, to pivot, and to turn. As with all Bluearth activities we observe ourselves and others during each activity and have time to reflect and then practice again with new insights. That smile says it all!
