25.01.2022 Dont think i can get any prouder of my 2 stallions than i am today! Johnson has paddock served his mares until today.. We hand served Marnie this morning & he behaved like an old pro.. & Jack.. Well..we seperated the 2 colts as Gale has been bossing little Seumas quite a bit.. Threw Gale in with Jack & he's the bestest Uncle Jack now! Lol

24.01.2022 Blueberry Hills Rhiamon!! Very happy with miss Marnie today.. After coming home with a rather unhappy attitude to work..which stemmed from ill-fitting gear (mainly a metal girth point that was wedged thru the gullet of her saddle & driving into her spine) She has had a few months off just to relax & enjoy life as a pony.. Brought her in today.. New gear on..light lunge.. Then jumped on for a beautiful 10 min ride at walk & trot.. Wonderful to have the sweet relaxed girl (that... she was) back! 17.01.2022 The Connemara pony is Irelands only native breed. Famous for being hardy and sure-footed the pony evolved in the western part of County Galway, known as Connem...ara. This area of rough terrain, rocky landscape and wet harsh climate helped develop a breed that is strong, sturdy, resilient and adaptable. Breed criteria demands that ponies are between 128 to 148 cm high at the withers; be a compact, well-balanced riding type with good depth and substance, good heart room and standing on short legs with a well-developed knee and short cannon bone. Movement must be free without undue knee action, active and covering ground. Colour can be grey, black, bay, dun with occasional roan and chestnut, palomino and dark-eyed cream. Today, this hardy and versatile pony is bred worldwide in Ireland and the United Kingdom, on the European continent, in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
