17.01.2022 The 2018 Nickol Bay Speedway Sprintcar Stampede is done and dusted for another year. We hoped to do better than last year but it wasn’t to be. We had some engine issues leading up to the weekend but had it all sorted for Thursday nights practice when 6 laps in the car came out of gear and sent a chill through us all. A bit of adjustment on Friday and all good to go. In the last heat, I spun in 3 and had another car hit us and we got towed back in, our night over. ... We whacked in a new shockie and radius rod before heading onto the track to try out the repairs. The car was on rails and ready for night 2. On night 2, 3 laps in I lost all power steering and fuel. A shagged cam spud was replaced and we nicked John Magerl’s spare and put that in. We missed our next two heats and was placed P11 in the feature. 15 laps in and sitting in 8th I lost oil pressure and finished our campaign on the infield. We’ll get that sorted and be back on the track in two weeks. Congratulations to Jamie Landrigan on the win and Gaudio and Matt Davis with their 2nd and 3rd placings. Thanks to all the visiting drivers for attending and we hope to have you all back next year. 16.01.2022 Not a good finish to race 2 and the night. Blue is fine, but the car a bit worse off for kissing the wall.

15.01.2022 Well, that's 2017 Shinju done and dusted. The didn't get the result we wanted, and that's racing, it was just good to be back in the seat and having a good time. The car is straight and the engine sound so we have nothing to spend before the next meeting. Thanks to KT Engines, Railway Possessions Australia, CNW Electrical Wholesalers Karratha, for your ongoing support along with my wonderful wife Lynne Stannard for the leave pass and the never ending support. 15.01.2022 After a spin out and hit in race 4 last night, the car is rebuilt any ready to race in night 2 of the City of Karratha sprintcar stampede 2018.

14.01.2022 Well what en eventful start to the 2019 speedway season. New engine build, trying to get it started in the main street, to the bemusement of the local constanbulary who were not impressed, and although they didn’t let us continue, were quite good about it.....see the previous post So, we got to the track late and missed the first two heats but managed a couple of warm up laps. Went out and won the third heat from P1 and then win the feature from P4.....that motor is a bloo...dy rippa. 11.01.2022 Bluedog racing would like to wish everyone a happy, safe and prosperous new year. We managed to win the Nickol Bay Sprintcar title this year without too much damage through the year. That was not possible without our family and sponsors so a big shout out to Railway Possessions Australia Graham Wilson), KT Race Engines (Kevin Thomas) and CNW Electrical Wholesalers Karratha (Jarrad McCormack). 04.01.2022 Another weekend of racing and another Nickol Bay Speedway Sprintcar Stampede done and dusted. Congratulations AJ for the win and all drivers for a great weekend of good clean racing. We were off the pace with setup issues and chasing the track which wasn't ideal and didn't give us the result we wanted.... The positive is that the car is in one piece, the engine is healthy and we'll be back at the next event with a couple of changes and start winning again. Massive thanks to Kevin Thomas for my engine and to RPA for their ongoing sponsorship and support.
