13.01.2022 A bit of Monday madness - trying to get books into the house for Christmas - we have the perfect thing - Stealth Bags - we are helping a customer to recycle some bags. These are not books you see before you! Reuse them for your other items as well. Thanks Brooke!

12.01.2022 Hi, We are still here, just. Still planning on being open for this Friday and Saturday from 10am to 3pm. Government rules permitting of course. We will be closed thereafter till further notice. We are working out options for books to be purchased while the shop is closed. Postage is of course possible, with the parcel bags being the most economical we think. Drop off to local areas is a possibility, we are working out the logistics regarding health and safety plus the cost f...actor. All the books in the shop are on our database so we can respond to requests quickly. We will not be purchasing any books so what we have got now is it. If you have existing book credit with us that can be used. Payment will be accepted by direct deposit or eftpos via phone/email. We will make sure that we clean all the books before being packaged. We are going to take the next few days to rest and de-stress a bit. Following is what we are going to be doing to help you keep reading, and to keep our business going:... - Taking orders by email and though Facebook, payment can be made by direct deposit or by remote Eftpos. - Free home drop off by us for orders over $25.00. Delivery area will be roughly from Warrimoo to Orchard Hills. Please contact us for further info. - Postal deliveries will be available depends on weight, please enquire about pricing - Pick up will be available twice a week in Glenbrook, but only for pre-arranged orders. It will be Wednesday and Saturday in the morning only. The shop will not be open for browsing. - Customers who have store credit can still use it. We will not be purchasing or taking books till we re-open the shop - All of our books in the shop are on the database so we can check quickly if there is something you are after. 04.01.2022 Hello book lovers! Further update on our shop hours. We will be open this Saturday, Anzac Day, from 10 till 2pm then we will be closed Sunday and Monday. Thereafter we will be open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 to 3pm each day. The Book Bar will be operating and we are open for browsing but the number of people in the shop will be limited to 4 persons. If you wish to make an appointment to browse, please do so. 01.01.2022 Hi again! We are extending our hours slowly back to something normal. We will have the Book Bar open from 10am to 2pm on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. We are open at these times for book requests and pre-organised pick-ups. If you want to do some browsing through the shelves we are very happy to organise a time for you to so. Just contact us and we can make an appointment. Our sale is still going, 20% off all books. 01.01.2022 Need something else for the kids to do? Here are some of the activity book packs we are putting together, priced at $10 each. We are also getting jigsaws out of storage. Not all of them are complete so prices range from $2 to $15 depending on condition, size and whether some pieces are missing. Yes we know it is annoying to find 1 or 2 pieces missing, but at least you were forewarned and you still got to put around 999 pieces together!
