25.01.2022 My native garden is blooming with wildflowers! We have daily visits from Willie Wagtails, Cuckoo Shrikes, Lorikeets, Honeyeaters and Galahs. And of course Ravens and Magpies The bees and butterflies are also loving the flowers which is bringing in the insectivorous birds. Plus, I barely have to give it any attention and it requires next to no water. Next time, the back yard will be 100% natives too. #nativegarden #westernaustralia #urbanbirds

16.01.2022 Are YOU doing Containers for Change? Did you know that by collecting these, you could earn up to 10c per item! And it's actually really easy, you just sign up for a Scheme ID and then you can drop them at your nearest depot. This week we collected 42 bottles and cans (mostly rubbish) and made $4.20. That's a takeaway coffee! Not only can you clean up litter and encourage recycling but that's also a great way to earn some extra $$ that cane be donated or put back into ...your local economy.
