21.01.2022 Good morning all ya'll.... I wanted to give a big shout out to all of you for your patience last night. .....We knew it was going to be a big night.... .....We prepped like mad all day. .....We put on extra crew. But what we couldn't prepare for was a bloody Microsoft update at the start of peak service which meant we lost our server and all of our POS equipment. It was like trying to drive blind.....couldn't see where we had come from or where we were going.... If you have ever been gripped with fear when you see the blue screen of death whilst in an update, when you desperately need to be able to use and it keeps spinning around for ages asking you to not turn off your computer.....you will know exactly what I mean! We did our best to catch up (the crew went into overdrive - we are blessed to have such a good team) but this did cause you to have to wait longer than we quoted you and that you expected. I am truly sorry for that. It is definitely not what we want for you all. Our tech guy got a cranky call (sorry mate) late last night about ensuring we don't get a recurrence of updates at night during dinner service. Once again, I thank you for your patience, understanding and I sincerely apologise if you had to wait more than you usually would. Onwards and upwards.... Dave and the Bluegrass Team.

We're determined to s...tay here cooking up a storm for you, and providing work for our beloved team, for as long as we safely can. We've had to make some more changes, though, to protect you our guests, and our staff. . Mainly that means limiting our seating capacity inside, along with all the intense efforts we've already been putting into hygiene and sanitisation & social distancing. . Not only has the amazing support of this wonderful community quite literally kept us going, you've done so with style! .... You've made us laugh and cry (in a good way), you've been so flexible and accomodating as we struggled to implement all the new rules regulations, and you've been patient and kind as we hurriedly put together a new way of operating. . 04.01.2022 Dining at Bluegrass is back, baby! The good news is that as from lunch this Saturday, we'll be open for reservations up to a total of 10 guests at a time. . In order that we can see as many of you as possible, we've broken the day in sittings of around about an hour (slightly longer at dinner). We've also expanded our trading hours, opening a little earlier and staying open later than before, on the peak days. .... Unfortunately though, even with the extra sittings, with only 10 guests, we're operating at well under a quarter of our usual capacity, and so we will not be able to serve everyone. Bookings can be made only by calling us on 3264 7043 and are essential. We do not imagine having space available for walk in guests at most times. . We will still be running takeaway and deliveries. We ask that you order online via our website, rather than through the third party apps, as this gives us the best chance of keeping all of our awesome team going through the phase back in to normal operations, some time in the future. .
