15.01.2022 Feeling hungry while staying at Bluegums Retreat? The latest venture by Theresa Albioli and Tony De Marco - the Virgin Cafe at Hotel Bellinzona is the place to go. Fantastic! Food is amazing - just head up the main street - well worth it for breakfast.

Sailors Falls Waterfall and Lookout a great spot for a picnic lunch... 2. Mt Franklin Reserve good challenging walk 3. Hanging Rock 4. Glenlyon Reserve 5. Jubilee Lake in Daylesford 6. Daylesford Mill Markets (one of my personal favorites) 7. Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens and don’t forget the Wombat Hill Café while there and the Water Tower Lookout you can climb 8. Trentham Rail Trail 9. Trentham Falls particularly good if it's been raining 10. Myriad Mineral Springs 11. Weekend Markets all over the place 12. Bush Walks tryout Breakneck Gorge

01.01.2022 Good bye to a Hepburn Icon - the Blue Bean (formally the Red Star) and hello newcomer Harry’s Eatery & Bar. Just had the salmon gravlax with poached egg and avocado (not smashed) for lunch - yum -and the coffee is great also.
