25.01.2022 Something new is coming! In the digital age of creating online courses, webinars, and all sorts of ideas and information....it's so nice to create something physical....for you. I'll keep ya posted....or stop in to see what's happening. You know where to find me! Xo Lynn

25.01.2022 Support the locals please. Lovely, hand crafted gifts of essential oils, beautiful fabrics and more. Happy to say that a few meditation cushions will be available as well. Enjoy Woopi! <3

23.01.2022 Gratitude. Appreciation. Even amongst chaos and challenge we can decide to let go and see moments of delight. This is our path towards the release of suffering.

22.01.2022 Great post from the Metta Centre in Sydney. Enjoy a little of this feel good video and then see how the joy expands! :)

19.01.2022 Mid morning Bonito coffee and breakie while I prepare to start a mentor letter to one of my students in America. What a honour it is to do this work and share my experience of meditation and Buddhism.

19.01.2022 This 'zen master' has been sharing our garden for months now. Couldn't help but make a post for him/her. <3

14.01.2022 Another opportunity to shop local instead of searching for a parking spot at Park Beach Plaza. :) Merran Storrie of Enrich and Connect will have her gorgeous eye pillows, roller bottle holders and doTERRA goodies on hand, as well as a few of my meditation cushions. Enjoy Woopi!

13.01.2022 I read somewhere that the difference between 'doing' and 'practicing' is the element of devotion. I realise some may see this statue and think the practice is some sort of worship. For me the image of the Buddha represents my human potential. The practice is my path towards it. #buddhanature #meditation #dhamma #devotion #humanpotential #eveningpractice #awakening

12.01.2022 Two simple objects sat on my unfinished shelf and captured the evening light to create this magic....this nectareous moment.

12.01.2022 have dreams...but please don't dream your life away. it's so precious.

12.01.2022 Another wonderful event from Enrich and Connect...this one for the men! Kayaking, great food, yoga and more. Includes a voucher for a 90 minute personal introduction to meditation and mindfulness with me. Just in time for Father's Day if you are still wondering what to get that awesome man.

07.01.2022 For the past three weeks I have been attending this amazing course on chanting. It has been full of laughter, light, and learning. The energetic power of working with simple mantras has blown my mind. Grab yourself a spot for this latest offering and experience the ancient power of the tribe.

07.01.2022 New Year. New Beginnings. Change is happening all around us and within us. It's so natural to desire for our lives to remain steady, comfortable...predictable. This is not at all the condition of my life at this time. For a few weeks now I have been trying to write this post to announce the endings and beginnings for myself and Blue Lotus Insight. In two weeks we (husband, two dogs and I) are moving back to New Zealand. It's a long story as to how this came about, but we are excited to return home, as well as sad to leave so many friends behind. I am so grateful for the years of support and connection with the amazing community in Sandy Beach, Coffs Harbour, Woolgoolga and beyond. Wishing everyone that has touched my heart here in Australia good health, peace and joyful abundance. Arohanui, Lynn :D

06.01.2022 The beautiful Rani will be back in Woopi August 25th offering some of her joyful wisdom of yoga. Don't miss this!

05.01.2022 I am listening. To the wind in the trees. To the conversation of birds. I am watching. The feelings of my heart. The thoughts in my mind. Six weeks after the death of my father and I still cannot sit on my meditation cushion. In fact, I gave it away to my nephew. I don't consider this a failure. It is a leap to a new part on my path. My practice is off the cushion and in the everyday. Waiting peacefully for hours and days...in airports, planes and cars. Listening ...to the grief of my cousin as he described his mother's final days. Witnessing the struggle and triumph as my brother stood and eulogised our father. Watching the chaos of my own thoughts as I sort through the complexity of guilt, joy, relief, gratitude and sorrow. Breathing. Counting my breaths. Silently reciting a mantra. This is my practice. The hours I have spent on the cushion are supporting me now. Carrying me on this river....gently....effortlessly.....floating towards a new destination. One with a new meditation cushion and more hours of sitting. When I am ready. Inspiration for these words of mine: "As we listen more deeply to suffering, we begin to notice non-suffering. The heart realizes its innate courage, strength, and invincibility. This journey through pain and suffering burns away the impurities, and what is revealed is something pristine, clear, and beautiful, like a moonlit pearl: the tender, merciful heart, and its infinite ability to receive the cries of the world." --Thanissara

05.01.2022 Why not try something different for your Friday night wind down? Join me for relaxing meditation 5.30-6.30 at StudioMove Woolgoolga. Then stroll down the street for a lovely Indian vegetarian meal at Singhan Da Dhaba. All on Market Street in Wonderful Woopi!

02.01.2022 Spring is almost here and with it this glorious rain...yay! Over the winter I offered a series of workshops on the Brahma Viharas - four positive qualities of the mind (equanimity, kindness, compassion and joy) to cultivate along side our meditation or yoga practice. Over the years I had learned and practiced these individually, but as I worked closely with all four over the winter I recognised that at the foundation of each is the simple practice of Gratitude. The active c...ultivation of inner abundance through giving thanks creates deep roots for the Brahma Viharas to grow in our heart and in our mind. This spring my work is growing in some exciting new directions. I would like to pause at this time and give thanks to everyone that has supported me. To my weekly bodywork clients, meditation students, teachers, instagram and FB connections, family, friends, dogs and husband - thank you for helping me grow and do what I love. In the next few weeks I will be rolling out details of new individually designed meditation & mindfulness courses. Yes! I will be working 1 on 1 with a few students now - developing comprehensive courses to fit perfectly with their schedule, interests and experience. To work in this way is a substantial commitment for both the student and the teacher, but so worth it. To help me kick this off I would like to request feedback or comments from anyone that would like to share. Your words may be used on my website or to fine tune my offerings. As thanks for your support I have made some beautiful Gratitude Journals as gifts. And yes, I am happy to post these anywhere in the world! These and other handcrafted journals will soon be available on my Etsy store and at local markets. Another of my fun, little creative projects. :) If you would like to share some words about me or my work, please email me at: [email protected] Alternatively you can PM me here. In Metta & Gratitude, Lynn

02.01.2022 Friday 5.30pm Meditation in Wooloolga - Cancelled For the past 2 years my precious Father has faced the challenge of cancer with incredible grace and courage. His time is coming to an end now and I am traveling back to the USA to be with him. Thank you for your support and understanding. I look forward to sharing the practice of meditation with you upon returning from this journey.... In Metta, Lynn "To everything There is a season And a time to every purpose, under heaven A time to be born, a time to die A time to plant, a time to reap A time to laugh, a time to weep"

01.01.2022 Many of you have had wonderful, deep healing sessions in this space. Over the past few weeks I have given it some TLC and created a place for meditation consultations... and maybe just a cosy hangout for drinking tea too. What do you think?
