24.01.2022 Join the Blue Lounge Social Club and members of Freemasonry from around the world as we host an online education forum and discussion on the Eleusinian Mysteries in Greece and other mystery schools like the Dionysian Artificers What were the mystery schools of the Ancient Greece, Egypt and the Near East? And what connection, if any, do they have with Freemasonry? In this forum, we will explore the history and secret teachings of some of historys greatest mystery schools, in...cluding the rites of the Eleusinian Mysteries of Greece, the secretive Dionysian Builders of Syria and the Roman Mithraic mysteries. These great secret societies of the ancient world offer a fascinating vantage point from which to view our own Craft, and to enable a more nuanced appreciation of Freemasonrys symbolic and allegorical heritage. The convener for this forum Brother Kane Ord. An engaging Socratic style discussion will follow the presentation and this forum promises to be a highly stimulating and enjoyable masonic education experience. All Freemasons are welcome to attend this free virtual event. See you tonight!

23.01.2022 The Blue Lounge Social Club is proud to announce that, in partnership with the Freemasons Victoria Education VAT, we will be hosting a series of online Masonic Advancement Program (MAP) presentations for Victorian Freemasons via the Zoom platform. Each session will include a pre-recorded MAP presentation facilitated and hosted by some of the leading educational voices from the Blue Lounge Social Club and the Freemasons Victoria Education VAT. The current positive environme...nt toward on-line Masonic activity presents an excellent opportunity to host the MAP presentation recordings on-line via Zoom. The aim of these unique MAPs will be to encourage debate, exchange of ideas and to generate discussion, whilst also ensuring that candidates can undertake their MAPs in preparation for their degrees ceremonies when the Craft can return back to labour. These new educational seminars offer a unique interactive MAP presentation experience that covers the requirements of MAP program, whilst providing a unique opportunity for Freemasons from all across Victoria to learn together, without being restricted by district borders. All participants in the program will be able to have their masonic education passport requirements formally signed off by the Education VAT team. We are excited that over the next few weeks, the Education VAT and the Blue Lounge Social Club will have all 3 MAP presentations hosted through this new and exciting format, with different young hosts for each session. Dates for the MAPs and their hosts are below: MAP 1 Online on 21 May 2020. Hosted by Brother Jay Rottem EA and WBro Jack Nathan Aquilina WM OMC. MAP 2 Online on 3 June 2020.
