05.01.2022 Went for a wander last week around Medlow Bath and found Mark Tomb. Mark Foy was the retailer and entrepreneur who built the Hydro Majestic hotel at Medlow Bath. He was so taken with the area that he wanted to be buried there, selecting an eroded sandstone cave now known as Mark’s Tomb as his final resting place. Ultimately he wasn’t buried there, but the cave still bears his name. To find Mark’s Tomb, drive or walk to the end of Belgravia Street, follow the TRACK sign on... the tree to the right at the end of the street. After a little while you come to a fork - go right. Roughly 10 minutes down this track (the Wonderland Track) you will see another track branching off down the hill to the left with a Mark’s Tomb sign nailed to a tree. Take this left track. After a short walk down this track you'll come across Mark's Tomb.
