24.01.2022 Awesome BMF #ultratrailaustralia Training Run today. Weather was cold early on but perfect running conditions later. Great running by all with heaps of course knowledge and tips passed on by the experienced trainers. We even got donuts at The Fairmont! They are carbs, right! Thanks Shaun! 19.01.2022 We need your help! Since the 1st August, 24 hour gyms in NSW have been unable to operate 24/7 due to the need to have a ‘Covid Marshal’ present at all times of... operating. Having a Covid Marshal in our gym for the hours we are currently operating alone has already doubled our wage costs. If we were to staff our gym 24 hours a day, 7 days a week we would be broke with this not only affecting us and our staff but also our members who rely on us to keep physically and mentally fit and healthy. Despite consistent lobbying as an industry we have been provided with no clear indication of when this restriction will end so we are asking for your help to ensure all 24 hour gyms, their members and their staff do not get forgotten by the NSW Government. 15.01.2022 2020 has been a tough year for everybody so our regular BMF UTA Runner Clement is having a crack at Movember and looking even better than he usually does! He has decided to raise funds for men’s mental health as part of the Vipers Running Club. He'll be challenging himself with physical and mental challenges. Along with running 250 kms over the month of November he will also be attempting the Bondi to Manly 80km run on the 5th of December with some Vipers. ... 11.01.2022 With Antarctic storm and Sharknado extreme weather forecast it was a case of Who Dares Wins today on our BMF UTA Run. We lucked in with zero rainfall all morning - some runners were even caught smiling on Furber Steps! No life boats were needed for the creek crossings and the trails werent that slippy due to the low numbers venturing in the Jamieson recently. Distances from 22-28km done and plenty of experienced gained - remember it might be wet on race day!
