03.01.2022 SERENDIPITY Ive been pretty quiet on the socials lately, a huge studio move just took place with a beautiful little story behind it, but firstly....total #ecoflorist heaven here, my new studio has about 50 square meters of luscious #spagnummoss growing right next to it on a huge hill! My favourite medium to work within my sustainable practice. Love those little signs in life that scream "you are truly where your meant to be" ... Moss is a brilliant way to hold moisture when arranging flowers. A few factors need to be considered when choosing moss to keep in line with being earth friendly: Make sure its local for minimum carbon footprint Check its been farmed specifically, not taken from local ecosystems TIP: Whack it back in the shade, keep it damp & it will keep on growing!! Ill be replanting after use, straight back on my giant moss hill!!! #ecofloristtips
