14.01.2022 Dear followers, A kind member of the public living in one of a few units in Blaxland has reached out to us for help with desexing and rehoming a group of kittens and cats. It all started when the original owners abandoned 2 females and from then they have been producing kittens and the colony is growing out of control. We are hoping to be able to vet work and rehome the kittens and desex all the adults, where they can be returned and cared for by this kind lady. There is cu...rrently a litter of 4 kittens roughly 10-12weeks old. Another litter of 5 roughly 3-4weeks old and a new litter of 7 kittens roughly 1week old. The mother of the 1 week old kittens was saved from a possum trap by the carer while she was heavily pregnant. She took a turn for the worst on Saturday and the carer reached out to us for help to have her seen at the emergency vet. Being that it was boxing day this was an expensive visit for us and for the carer. But the mumma "Gypsy" was in trouble and so she was seen at Nepean veterinary hospital She was diagnosed with low calcium and is iron deficient. She is now on medication. We desperately want to help with this situation and are asking our followers if they can please donate any funds toward this endeavour. You can put "blaxland cats" as your reference and the funds will go directly to desexing the adults. We will vet work and find wonderful homes for the kittens when they're ready. Together we can make a real difference. "BMD cat desexing group promotes, and is actively involved in, desexing, rehabilitation and rehoming (where possible) and the safety and welfare of all cats."

06.01.2022 All of these babies have been adopted!! Broderick ADOPTED!(ginger boy), Chille (ginger and white girl) and Bjorn (tabby girl) are up for adoption! Broderick is quite a boisterous young man who will perch on your legs while you pat him, but he isn't the cuddliest boy just yet. No doubt he become a smooch as he bonds with you as he is a real sweet heart. He loves some rough and tumble and so would need another young cat in the house to play with and would suit children 12 a...nd up. DOB 13/8/20 Chille ADOPTED is a sweet girl who loves to be on your lap and generally just be with you. She's a placid girl who enjoys play time but loves relaxing just as much. She would also be suited to older children but could do well with quiet younger children. She would certainly enjoy a friend for company. DOB 28/6/20 Bjorn ADOPTED is a little darling. As soon as you're patting her she is purring away, but she takes a little longer to warm to you as she is quite shy. She has a lovely gentle nature. She would benefit from another cat for company. She would need a quiet home where she can be the centre of attention. DOB 10/8/20 These 3 are currently in The Pet Health Hub at Lawson. If you are interested in these darlings please msg the page and feel free to pop into the Health Hub and meet them. Their adoption fee is $220 each or $400 if you adopt a pair. This covers: desexing microchipping first vaccination flea and worm treatment. Microchip numbers Broderick 953010004946436 Bjorn 900164001959286 Chille 900164001164289

03.01.2022 Assisted rehoming post. We have a bio on these two brothers from the people currently caring for them. An adoption fee of $200 for the pair will be required so that we can ensure they go to a loving home. They have had all their vet work done. ... Spooky is a beautiful jet black Russian Blue cross cat who is 5 years old. Spooky is such an affectionate cat, happy to lap up the cuddles and pats when we can from whoever is willing to give them. He loves to lay in the sun (inside) and get some much needed zzz’s.Spooky is happy wherever his brother Marvin is, and loves to snuggle right in by his side, although he loves a little razz every so often, tumbling around with each other. Marvin is Spooky’s brother from the same litter. He again is a Russian Blue cross, however is a beautiful blue and white coat. He loves a cuddle, he even loves to lay across the back of your shoulders (if you let him jump up) as you sit or walk around. He loves attention, but like Spook, is happy to have a little me time. He is amazing with all ages. He needs his little partner in snoozing,Spook,so needs to be re-homed together. Both cats are indoor cats and are both litter box trained. Whoever welcomes these beautiful boys into their lives will be so completely filled with love and content. microchip numbers are for Marvin 900032002770266 and for Spooky 900032002770265.

03.01.2022 All of these beautiful adult cats are available for adoption at Lithgow animal shelter. Please share them around. Thanks!

03.01.2022 Assisted re-homing post. This is a bio from her current carer. Connie is currently alone at her owners house since he passed away a few weeks ago and is being cared for daily. ... Connie is a lovely cat that spends most of her time in the yard. I now feed her daily. She however isn’t a snuggly cat. Well hasn’t been. That doesn’t mean she won’t be with the right person. Her owner was an elderly gentleman who lived on his own and has no family except a sister and a niece who aren’t in a position to take her. Whilst she’s quite affectionate I have tried to pick her up and she freaks out. I know this would be get better with someone she grew to trust. She just needs someone to love her. I can certainly help anyone wishing to give her a loving home collect her. She’s located in Mount Riverview. You can give anyone interested my mobile number. 0414809190. M/chip 900012000837123 DOB:09/01/11 Desexed.
