23.01.2022 AUSTRALIA DAY WEEKEND UPDATE:: G'day all, we have received info that unfortunately there will be no access to Talbingo Dam this weekend due to dangerous conditi...ons, ie unstable trees, rockfalls, downed powerlines and a lot of surface and submerged debris on the dam. Great news, Blowering Dam is open! Access is open on the Snowy Mountains Highway side except for Yolde and Jounama Creek. At the Club we will have seafood raffles on Friday night and the weather is looking great for a game of golf. Australia Day the games kick off at 4pm at Dawn's Camp Kitchen on Miles Franklin Oval, then live music at the Club from 8pm with Triple Shot. The supermarket, service station and caravan park are all open for business, come up and have some fun!! See more

20.01.2022 Hello all, unfortunately there is no public access to Talbingo Dam this weekend, Snowy Hydro and their contractors are working hard to make safe the access and... areas before reopening. Our town is fortunate to have power backfeeding from Snowys T3 Power Station at the moment, while Essential Energy continue the huge task of re establishing our permanent power supply, they have been flat out for weeks! Blowering dam is open on the highway side for camping, check the NPWS website for details. Gonna be a hot one!! See more
