21.01.2022 This weekend we spent a couple of nights in Brisbane city (we had an amazing dog/animal sitter, thanks lovely Jazzy @jazzyconnors). On Saturday, Jackson was talking to two homeless men, and their dog that they had rescued from a shelter, about how it was very hard for them to improve their situation. I mentioned it to my friend and she said there is a charity, Pets in the Park, that helps pay for vet fees for the homeless/at risk of homelessness. Obviously there are many good... causes and other ways to help people and dogs, but this one really resonated with us. For some people, their pet is all they have, and to lose their best friend because of money would be devastating. Of course, we don't expect everyone to donate, or even be interested.
