25.01.2022 It's the last day for our T1 applications! Come join our team and become part of a thriving community dedicated to providing opportunitiesand events to students. We even have two brand new roles available! An OBC (On-Board Computing) team lead will spearhead the design and implementation of computer systems for the satellite . Satellite Payload Team Members who will be responsible for researching and developing a UV Earth observation imager . ... We also have roles available in partnerships, finance, web and more! 13.01.2022 Our Open Source Satellite submission earned Notable Work out of the 250+ submissions from 20+ universities for Saber Astronautics's Quest for Blue competition! Congratulations to the Bluesat members who contributed to the Open Source Satellite submission - Jackie Deng, Arthur Wang and Sadman Shafiq! We'd like to also congratulate the other winners from around the world - 1st Place Gary Stewart from the University of Strathclyde, 2nd Place Yan Chen from the Melbourne Space P...rogram, 3rd Place StrathAIS from the University of Strathclyde and fellow Notable Work Lisa Scott and Rael Taylor-Sezgin from the University of Strathclyde. Their spots are well-deserved! Special Credit to Bluesat members Carlos Hernandez and Shinara Armitage who also produced a great submission (BlueFire) to tackle bushfire prevention and control, well worth a read. Credit also to Ricky Qu for his support in our participation.
