16.01.2022 Hi Folks, Blues Boot Camp is having a reunion at the Potato Shed January 24, 2021 see info below. I hope your festive season has been a happy one. It’s been a tricky year for many of us with not many opportunities to hear or perform ‘live’ music, so Rob from the shed said let’s have a reunion! Why the heck not! Tutors and students gathering and performing together again. Yee Ha! Bring your families and friends. If you’d like to perform please CONTACT ME A.S.A.P as I need to... plan a schedule for the day. There will be a drum kit, some guitar and bass amps and keyboards but you will need your instruments. You may have formed a group since you did Boot Campwhy not come and perform? I hope you can make it and I’m looking forward to catching up with as many of you as possible. My contact details are below. Best regards Wayne Jury From Rob McLeod The Potato Shed Every January at the Shed we have hosted the Blues Boot Camp alas in 2021 we are sad to announce that the workshops will not be happening. So instead we celebrates 10 years of Blues Boot Camp with a very special one off concert!!! On the new outdoor stage - The Potato Shed has a new outdoor stage and here you will see some of the featured artists from this series. Hosted by Wayne Jury- Geelong born and bred. 02.01.2022 You may have guessed or deduced by now that Blues Boot Camp has been on hold for a while. We couldn't run at Bendigo this year and we certainly won't be able to run at the Potato Shed in Drysdale in January 2021. I think in its current form it is over. It's been 10 years with so many wonderful participants and mentors. The Potato Shed and The City of Greater Geelong have been super supportive. I want to give thanks to everyone who has been involved in one way or another, including parents and anyone who has helped out over the years. You have contributed to our musical community and I am grateful to have been a part of the adventure. Wayne Jury
