16.01.2022 COVID-19 Update; Blue Sky Physiotherapy Torquay The health and safety of our clients, community and staff are our primary concern when considering the service we provide during this COVID-19 outbreak. We are classified as an essential service, and will therefore continue to provide our service, as directed by the Australian Government Department of Health. For the time-being, we are continuing to provide face to face consultations.... To ensure the safety of all involved during our face to face sessions, we are taking the following precautions: Strict personal and equipment hygiene protocols practiced between each client. Our therapists are wearing surgical face-masks and gloves. We are screening each client that presents to our clinic. Anyone found to have an elevated temperature, cold & flu symptoms, recent overseas travel or contact with COVID-19, will NOT be allowed entry. We ask that you please postpone your visit for 2 weeks and seek medical advice if you have a fever, cold & flu symptoms, have been feeling unwell, travelled overseas recently, been in contact with COVID-19 or people infected with COVID-19. We are observing social distancing of 1.5 metres where possible If you have access to a non-cotton facemask, please wear it when attending our clinic. At present, we are providing face to face consultations only from our Quay Family Healthcare site. Our Torquay Pharmacy room is currently unavailable. We now also offer a telehealth or Video conferencing service. This allows you to access the physiotherapy service from the comfort of your home using a phone or computer with wi-fi connection. Using this service, we can provide you with the following: Assessment of your condition. A provisional diagnosis. Treatment methods including stretching, strengthening, exercise, education, advice, and we may also be able to involve family members to assist you.
