17.01.2022 #BlueSolarCommunity proudly presents a fantastic local business today, I say business but it's really not a business at all, rather a lifeline for many in the local Melton community - Earth Village Cafe This place is very close to my heart, as I personally have volunteered here and have benefitted from the amazing services and brilliant support that Earth Village and its dedicated team provide. Many of Earth Villages customers go there for the amazing food and drink. The menu... is constantly being updated with delicious options, both savoury and sweet, and the friendly baristas are always happy to serve. They also have a delightful range of op-shop products for you to peruse while you wait. But it’s not what they SELL, although everything there is a bargain, it’s what they GIVE that is what makes this place so incredible. Earth village is dedicated to helping those in need, providing them with free bread and produce kindly donated by local businesses. They also offer free meals twice a week, which not only provide that much needed nourishment to those who need it, but a way to socialise and get that much needed sense of community. I seriously cant use enough superlatives to describe this place. It’s a great cause and does wonders for the community. Their menu lists some old time favourites as well as interesting new flavour combinations that leave your tastebuds salivating. They aren’t actually too far from our offices in Tullamarine so I was lucky enough to try some of their ...Green Curry with Chicken one day - I was feeling adventurous. Absolutely delicious with just the right amount of spiciness for this delicate palate. Based at 55 Fletcher St in Essendon, Copper & Spoon is the brainchild of culinary visionary Sang Tran, finally giving a fixed address for all of the fans of his famous Pop-Up Restaurants. Sang’s unique style and flavour combinations are amazing, making fine dining cuisine available to everyday people. I have been lucky enough to partake in a few of... Sang’s offerings, and I was utterly floored by how good it was. I recommend Copper & Spoon to all my friends and family and I definitely vouch for how much you will enjoy the rustic charm of the venue compliments the distinct character of the menu.
