25.01.2022 Blue Temper showroom will be open this Easter weekend on Friday, Sunday and Monday, from 11am till 4pm. We've got a showroom full of hand forged ironwork, and wall art, and a yard full of sculptures and fire bowls. Come and buy yourself something that will last lifetimes!

23.01.2022 Hi Facebook, today I’d like to ask for your combined positive energy to be focussed towards my amazing wife Tania Soldo-Murphy. This time last year I shared a post about her remission, unfortunately in November the leukaemia relapsed. Tan was told she had to have a bone marrow transplant, but her options were limited as they only had a half matched donor. Then recently a miracle occurred and a perfect match was found!! ... Today, after a week of intense chemotherapy, Tan received her donors stem cells, all the way from Europe. The road to full recovery can be rocky, but the combined positive energy and intention of many, focussed on Tan will lift her up through this journey. Love is a powerful tool for healing, please send it Tans way. Peace, Chris.

23.01.2022 I just installed this gate in Port Elliot. It was a great challenge to design the gate to tie in with the pattern created by the breeze bricks, and to really finish off the front entrance. And I fitted a hammered copper disc as the centre piece, to add a bit of sparkle! I love creating gates like this, if you would like a custom security door or gate for your home, give me a call.

22.01.2022 This is the evolution of "Mr Curly" the sign sculpture commissioned by Mitre 10 at Port Elliot. What started as a flat sheet of steel, evolved into a 5.6m tall signpost with a loop in the middle! Thanks to Lucas for all your hard work on construction, Ben at The Sign House and Gary at Lasercut Solutions for design and cutting the signs, Matt at Mathew Busch Concreting for the footing, Mike at Fleurieu Blast and Paint for the crane, Dave my Bro for help with the install.... And a big thanks to Ben and his great team at Mitre 10 Port Elliot, for commissioning such a unique sculpture, and supporting the locals on the upgrade of his store.

17.01.2022 Here is a few shots of my pelican sculpture "Take Flight" down at Brighton jetty sculptures. There is plenty to see down on the esplanade at Brighton, so head down after work, check out the sculptures, and have a dip in the ocean!!

15.01.2022 A lot of people recently have asked me "How is Tan going, did she find her bone marrow donor, is she still having chemo?". I am very happy to say Tan is going very well, she did not find her bone marrow donor (we knew she is unique, but no one in the world, on the registry, is a perfect match for Tan), and she does not need any more chemo. She has been in remission from Acute Myeloid Leukaemia for over 2 years now, and continues to go from strength to strength. She is teach...ing yoga, business partner at Blue Temper, and amazing Mum to Tayla and Kalan, and the best wife in the world and the Love of my life. Today is Tan's birthday and Tay, Kal and myself are so happy and grateful to celebrate today, and every day, with Tan. We wish you a very happy birthday, and continued health and prosperity, and to let you know you completely rock our world and we Love you.

09.01.2022 Hey, long time no see facebook!! Although the posts on facebook have been slow, we've been busy in the Blue Temper workshop. Thanks to Centennial Park for commissioning this upright Infinity sculpture, which was installed earlier this year. It stands 3 metres tall and 800mm wide, and is made from corten steel. It's a real honour to create a sculpture like this, especially for such a sacred setting as Centennial Park.

07.01.2022 The Brighton Jetty Classic Sculptures exhibition opens this Wednesday the 23rd January, and runs through till Sunday the 3rd of Feb. Get on down to Brighton and check out the sculptures in and around the Brighton surf club, and along the beach front either side of the jetty. And vote for your favourite sculpture in the peoples choice competition. My sculpture "Take flight" is ready to install, any ideas what it is?
