25.01.2022 MVD Ride - Day 6 Update Today was our shortest riding day at 217km, giving some of us time to swing by Karijini for a post ride dip! And what a special place it is Many of the guys said today was a serious mental battle and that the legs are feeling pretty heavy. They have all done such an incredible job to get this far - now only 521km until Telfer (most of which is gravel ). Tomorrow we hit Australia’s hottest town - wish us luck!! Please back the guys and flick a donation for all their hard work! https://gf.me/u/ypp3xq
24.01.2022 MVD Ride - Day 7 Update Not many people would’ve wanted to ride in these guys’ shoes today. The only thing that kept them going was knowing just how close to the end they are and how hard they have pushed themselves to get here. We were lucky to get a morale boost half through with an awesome blue tree sculpture at Mount Webber mine before jumping on the mountain bikes and riding into Marble Bar. We provided some entertainment for the truckies today and in their words these guys must be crazy - it’s way too hot to be riding bikes out here!. So in the 35 degrees the guys remembered why we’re all here and pushed on knowing the pain wouldn’t last forever. We gave the camp stove a rest tonight and dined in at the Iron Clad Hotel for some top nosh. Tomorrow we finish the total 2250km!! Telfer we’re a-knocking MVD 2020
23.01.2022 Things feeling a little foggy? Brain power is critical for mental health and emotional wellbeing . If you’re unable to focus, make decisions and are relying on coffee or snacks to get you through, then it’s time you took a break . Lack of sleep, overconsumption of sugar, lack of nutrients, depression, or even thyroid disorders can cause brain fog. Take some time to get your routine right and put yourself first. It’s not selfish - it’s essential Tree location: unknown #bluetreeproject #mentalhealth #youcantalk
21.01.2022 Time you took a break? Take some time to smell the flowers. Signs you need a break: - If you are losing interest in things that you are usually passionate about. - Short tempered and easy to provoke... - Taking everything personally - Constant overthinking - Emotionally overwhelmed - Always exhausted and tired This year will take its toll and there is nothing wrong with just taking a day. Put yourself first Trees pictured: Toodyay & Bencubbin WA

18.01.2022 What a weekend we had for Tour of Margaret River. The team faced the challenge together, helped one another through the struggles and finished it off on a high! 18.01.2022 This week will always be the hardest of the year, but it’s even harder now to put into words how much we miss you It has been two years since you left us, and not a day goes by without thinking of you, loving you and dreaming big for you. We miss your smile, sensitive heart, cheeky laugh and will always treasure our memories together. All our love #paintatreeblueforjaydo
17.01.2022 MVD Ride - Day 4 Update The early riders left in the dark to get a head start as the day heated up real quick! Simon knocked off some uni quizzes before jumping on the bike to knock off his 100km. The warm day left everyone with some sweet knee tanlines that are likely to brew over the next few days... We’re well into the worlds biggest shire - the shire of Pilbara, camping at Nanutarra Roadhouse for the night. We have scrubbed off another 303kms from the total and only have 954kms left! Helmets off to these guys who have done an awesome job looking out for each other. Just remember you are never alone in your challenges #mvdride2020 #bluetreeproject #mentalhealth #pedalpedalpedal
