25.01.2022 Given many of our Missionary friends operate in Papua New Guinea I thought I'd post this as an informative link for them and their friends as a disease risk resource and also as a reminder to be vigilant against mosquitos and malaria throughout the year. #travel #health #png #malaria
25.01.2022 We don't ordinarily repost guestbook comments from our website onto these FB pages, however, it seems one happy customer has found an interesting new property connected with Demal200 and Dembarah200 which we didn't see coming: a preventative for altitude sickness!! our general recommendation is to use Emphysema Spray for this purpose.. #altitude #altitudesickness #preventaltitudesickness Hendrik Dierich7 November 2018 at 4:51 pm DEMAL200 ... Demal 200 & Dembarah 200 combat altitude sickness. I have just returned from trekking in Nepal. Prior to leaving Australia I inquired about which vaccinations were suggested for that region - malaria, Dengue fever and Japanese encephalitis. Some parts of Nepal have a sub-tropical climate! Ok, I was never going to get vaccinated but now I knew to get the homeopathic equivalents (Demal 200 and Dembarah 200). I started taking then profilactically 2 weeks before I left Australia (as recommended in the instructions). Now I did not get Malaria or Dengue fever but I was in for a pleasant surprise! Others in my trekking team were taking various antibiotics and pain killers to deal with altitude sickness (we were trekking to 5400 metres), stomach upsets, headaches, nausea and diarrhoea. These are all quite intense at altitude and can be serious. Demal 200 and Dembarah 200 dealt with most of these issues for me. I took no antibiotics, some soluble Panadol and Hydralyte (to keep fluids down - it is a soluble salt and mineral drink given to diarrhoea sufferers). As we climbed I upped the dose of the homeopathics to four sprays four times a day. I kept this up till we descended back to around 1000 metres and halved the dose. Once back in Australia, I reduced it to 1 spray twice a day ... till it ran out. Overall, I am very impressed with the manner in which the remedies covered me for broad spectrum altitude sickness - something they were not specified for - and for malaria and Dengue fever, which I also did not get. No side-effects, fantastic outcome. I highly recommend these two products! https://www.blueturtlegroup.com/guestbook/
25.01.2022 The malaria parasite survives and thrives through it's ability to change it's surface protein coating in order to mimic the blood and thereby remain invisible to the immune system. Demal200 works by temporarily paralysing that ability to morph whilst also prompting the immune system to develop the right T-cells and antibodies to latch onto and attack the immobilised parasites. Demal200 was first developed in the late 70s and now experts from the Eliza & Hall Institute in Melbourne are working in a similar direction. #travel #health #vaccine #malaria
23.01.2022 In these days of ubiquitous aircon it's easy to forget to take precautions against the most simple of insect irritants together with the serious diseases they often carry. If caught without mossie repellant a simple trick is to take a slice of lemon (e.g. from the bottom of your last G&T) and rub it into the vulnerable areas; ankles, back of knees, elbows, back of neck/ears etc). Lemon can also be used to sterilise a bite and stop it from itching: rub it in vigorously and wait 2 mins.. #mosquito #travel #malaria #malariaprevention #dengue #lymes
23.01.2022 Emergence of a 'Super Malaria' on the asian Mekong Peninsular has been known about for 9-10 years. Whilst resistance to current front line drug combinations is developing, there remain combinations of 'heavier' drugs still able to treat it. Few people in the area use any form of chemoprophylaxis and so the risk of the new strain spreading to other areas (China and Africa) via tourists is high. #travel #health #malaria #resistance #epidemic
23.01.2022 Malaria season in Africa is now in full swing until next May.. Dont forget to use your Demal200 daily and avoid mosquitoes wherever possible. Stay safe folks...
23.01.2022 Nigeria has more cases and deaths from malaria than any other country in the world. Nigerias entire 177 million population is at risk from malaria. The country accounts for an estimated 23% of cases worldwide and a third of all deaths. Malaria is the leading cause of child deaths in the country and around 250,000 Nigerian children die every year from the disease. #travel #health #malaria #nigeria #orphan

22.01.2022 Malaria Update: South Africa (2017) Taken from the Malaria South Africa FB page: this shows that, despite many other countries' claims that the risk of malaria is declining, South Africa saw a rise of 48% in reported cases and 31% in deaths. Malaria epidemiology remains seasonal and the increases are attributable to the wetter start of 2017 relative to the drought of the previous year. People in Limpopo district are most at risk. #travel #southAfrica #health #malaria
21.01.2022 As you know, Demal200 works with the immune system to defeat the malaria parasite. It has proven to be a most highly effective preventative / treatment for all strains of malaria, however, it is only as effective as the immune system with which it is required to work. We all know that life in the tropics is stressful: on an ongoing basis this conspires to weaken the immune system and thereby can reduce or impair the immune system's response to the daily stimulus with Demal20...0. For this reason we recommend that long term users of Demal200 also make use of our ImmunoStimulant Spray to ensure full protection against malaria when using Demal200: typically, we recommend it's use for 2 weeks in every 12 or for one month 2x per year. To encourage this healthy practise, BTRS is pleased to offer a 50% discount off the price of a bottle of ImmunoStimulant Spray when purchased with 3 bottles of Demal200. #malaria #malariaprevention #tropicalliving #Africa

20.01.2022 Its almost that time of year again folks and if youre coming into London to this years WTM from somewhere exotic (other than Ipswich) then there is still time to order Demal200 for it to be waiting for you at your hotel on arrival Were currently offering 15% off Demal200 to WTM clients who place orders for delivery in London during the coming 2 weeks use the coupon code WTM-15-2018. https://www.blueturtlegroup.com/our-products.html #WTM #malaria #malariaprevention #travelhealth #travel
19.01.2022 From one of our Missionary clients in PNG "We originally used Demal200 back in 2004 through 2006 in a remote village setting of Papua New Guinea. We were missionaries in the Sepik Region with a very strong malaria presence. We worked with two other families who were using chloroquine and mefloquine. They all continually got malaria. We started as a family on Mefloquine/Lariam but my wife started suffering with many side effects that scared us. We were recommended by a fa...mily member doing research for us about Blueturtlegroup and the demal200 product. Our kids were ages one, two, and four at the time and we never got malaria once. We ended up recommending Demal200 to many missionaries and many still use it. So, recently I went into the thick of the Amazon in a strong malaria area. We were in the State of Amapa again visiting a remote tribal group as I was hosting a missions trip. The missionaries there have had malaria too many times to count so I told them about Demal200 and used it while there and had no issues. I am a strong advocate of this product as I have firsthand experience of using it for long periods of time while malaria was prevalent with never having come down with malaria to date. Many thanks for your great product." #travel #health #malaria #png #vaccine
18.01.2022 Travelling to Bali? Dont forget its well into the tropics and therefore health concerns are quite different to those found in more temperate climes. After traffic accidents, dengue fever presents the next highest risk. Dembarah200 can help alleviate this risk. #travel #health #dengue #prevention
16.01.2022 Whilst it would be easy to be cynical and suggest this latest 'scare' is really a prelude to a war cry for more research funds to and from the usual suspects, there is the real possibility that it's very real and has probably been evolving for quite some time. The malaria parasite is resistant to almost all conventional anti-malarials in Mozambique and other sizeable pockets of East Africa and so to add the genes of another resistant strain to the mix there would undoubtedly be catastrophic for the region. To date no resistance has developed through use of Demal200 due to it's unique properties which remains effective against all strains of malaria. #travel #health #malaria #epidemic http://www.bbc.com/news/health-41351160

16.01.2022 Malaria & Dengue Fever: the differences. Despite the fact that both these diseases are spread by mosquitos, it is important to distinguish between the two when planning journeys into/through tropical and sub-tropical climates.
16.01.2022 Many folk only travel overseas infrequently and to malarial areas even less often. Often they mentally associate the risk of contracting malaria with the infrequency of their travel (i.e. low risk). Similarly, they may overlook the risk to their health of the side effects of common malaria prevention medications. These risks are far greater than many people realise. Below is a polite reminder.. NB: Demal200 carries no such risks and yet is highly effective. #malaria #treatment #side #mental #health

14.01.2022 Africa is by far the continent most affected by malaria, accounting for 92 percent of the 429,000 people killed worldwide in 2015, according to WHO figures. Children under five represent more than two-thirds of these deaths Due to the use of 'modern jargon' the precise meaning of the article is unclear other than to reinforce the message that malaria is still a dangerous disease in Africa and elsewhere. #malaria #malariaprevention #tropical_disease #travel #travelafrica
11.01.2022 Last year 1400 people returned to the UK with malaria: six of them died. In 1985 I almost became one of these tragic statistics.. Going back to 2015; of 744 cases where reason for travel was given, there were 576 cases where a history of chemoprophylaxis (antimalarial medication) was known. of these, 490 travellers (85%) did not take antimalarial medication. By implication, chemoprophylaxis failed in 15% of cases.. would you accept this risk when travelling to a malaria endemic area? If not, visit https://www.blueturtlegroup.com to learn more about Demal200. #travel #health #malaria #vaccine

09.01.2022 An outbreak of Severe malaria in NE Zambia is a salient reminder not to be complacent about the risks of malaria when traveling or living abroad. Severe malaria is almost exclusively caused by Plasmodium falciparum which is responsible for the often fatal Cerebral Malaria. #malaria #preventmalaria #travelafrica #zambiatravel #Demal200
08.01.2022 At present the much vaunted malaria vaccine is estimated to be ~30% effective. As yet this is insufficient to satisfy the demands of intercontinental travellers and tropical residents alike. Researchers are still looking to understand how the malaria parasite is able to change it's protein coatings to mimic those in the blood so rapidly. Demal200, although required to be taken daily, behaves as a vaccine and, because BTRS understands the relationship between the malaria parasite's protein coating and the human immune system, is 100% effective and has been available commercially since 2000. #malaria #vaccine #health #demal200 #travel

04.01.2022 Mozambique is known for being the worst in the world for malaria: it occurs throughout he country and over 90% of reported cases are of P. Falciparum infections (which can develop into Cerebral Malaria). Drug resistance to Chloroquine is widespread. Due to it's mode of operation (with the immune system), resistance to Demal200 is not possible and so it remains highly effective. #travel #moz #health #malaria #vaccine

03.01.2022 One of the earliest tests of the homeopathic system was in the treatment of Typhus Fever (spread by lice) in an 1813 an epidemic which followed the devastation of Napoleon's army marching through Germany to attack Russia, followed by their retreat. When the epidemic came through Leipzig as the army pulled back from the east, Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy, was able to treat 180 cases of Typhus-- losing but two. This, at a time when the conventional treatments were having a mortality rate of over 30%.

03.01.2022 Malaria continues to spread to cities through work in remote locations. When working intermittent FiFo rosters many are reluctant to start/stop use of antimalarials and so generally don't bother at all. No surprises then when workers take malaria home with them. Through it's ability to be used when required, Demal200 can prevent this migration of malaria.

02.01.2022 Not a plug for Demal200 per se, this blog post by homoeopath Steve Scrutton neatly describes the bloody minded and blinkered vision of Big Pharma and their 'champions' at the BBC who rarely acknowledge or even mention the drawbacks of the 'recommended' allopathic treatments for malaria: an interesting read.. #health #natural #herbal #remedy #malaria

01.01.2022 The side-effects of Anti-Malarials are of particular concern to Divers and Air-crews due to the changed pressure differentials being experienced on a frequent basis. Rumours abound, however, there is, as yet, little documented evidence to link these activities with enhanced side-effects (though it is known that Malarone can enhance the propensity towards travel sickness). Due to it's mode of operation there are no side effects associated with Demal200. #dive #travel #health #malaria #demal200
