25.01.2022 Hi Bluewater, I would like to urge residents to make some preparations for the imminent fire season eg; clean the leaves from your roof gutters, clean up around your property boundary particularly if you back on to bushland area's, mow a fire break to prevent fire entering your property, if you have any question or need some advice, don't hesitate to contact me on 0407623092, we would also like residents to consider joining your local Rural fire brigade. cheers Lee

13.01.2022 Hi Bluewater, This is just a short message to let you know that the smoke in our area is from a fire burning to the South of us on the other side of the range, it poses no issue for our area ATM other than a smoke haze. Lee Burke

13.01.2022 Hi Bluewater Just an update on the "Fire" to our South in the hills, the fire has crested the main ridge & will continue to burn in our general direction, which will at times mean allot of smoke over the area. Rural Operations have done a "Chopper" flight this morning to gather information to help us to plan our approach to this fire. Bluewater Estates RFB, Bluewater RFB & other stakeholders are communicating to form a plan to deal with the fire before it poses a threat to t...he community. I would urge residents to continue with your own preparations to reduce fire impact on your property, especially those who back onto bushland. Please share this page or email a link to all those you have contact with in the area as this our main tool to keep residents informed of our activities & what fires may affect us. There is no direct threat to your safety & no need to be worried. Lee Burke, Bluewater Estates 1st Officer, 0407623092

13.01.2022 Hi Bluewater This is a community announcement to advise residents about our plans to deal with the fire in the hills to the south. On Sunday 15th RFSQ will be conducting a large scale "Back Burn" to contain the fire, this will occur from Forestry road along the "Power-link" easement in an Easterly direction to Mill road (Black River area) then South along the old Rail corridor. We ask residents to assist us by limiting all non essential traffic in these area's to aid in the "...Safety" of our "Fire Crews". As a result there will be heavy smoke in the area for most of the day & potentially for a few days to come, any questions/ problems you can call me on 0407623092, Remember if it is an "Emergency" call 000 See more
