09.01.2022 Bluewater State School - Sunday Gardening Working-Bee. It may take a village to raise a child but today it took a community to build a garden. Over the la...st month, Bluewater State School's Year 6 class has been working hard to clean up a back corner of the school to build Grandad’s Fairy Garden. With a large portion of the planning and layout done, it was time for the community to get involved to help with the heavy lifting and together we have created something special. From a reading corner to a ‘frog hotel’, worm farm to fairy garden, this outdoor space has a lot going on but there’s something for everyone. The students, parents, friends and teachers involved in bringing this project to life should be very proud. Happy Sunday, Hinchinbrook. Nick Dametto MP.
