Steve has been helping to groom some of our po...oches for a little while, getting them ready to meet potential adopters, making them feel extra special and clean. But the generosity Steve has shown today, was incredible. We have a number of dogs in care who are in poor health, are feeling down and urgently needed a really nice pamper. Steve has worked with some of our biggest, and most nervous dogs and has done an amazing job every single time. 13.01.2022 Another child has died from a dog attack today. I want to prevent this from happening so have added the photo below which looks cute but the dog is screaming it... is uncomfortable. You can see the body language in photo below: "whale eye" - the white part of the dogs eye shows Wide stare Stiffened posture Ears pulled back Other signs that a dog is not comfortable: Yawning Tail between legs Avoidance (wants to get away from situation) Licks lips Scratching Shys away If your dog is showing these signs please be careful and remove them from the situation they are in. Remember, they can't tell you they are uncomfortable.

A quick update from us: Our Blue Wheelers Groomers... are still available to take care of your fur babies as we are now working without human contact. Well..not quite business as usual. Your safety is our highest priority and our groomers are taking strict social distancing precautions. They will be in contact with you on how to best organise the hand over of your pooch without any human contact. As usual, our trailers are sanitised before & after every groom with our high strength sanitiser. Payments can be made via bank transfer, debit/credit card or cash depending on your groomer. If you are unwell, please reschedule your booking to a later date. Please also be rest assured that dogs cannot carry COVID-19.
