23.01.2022 There has been an announcement today from the state government about resuming dog grooming. However the directive isnt clear on how to operate. I am seeking clarification and will post early next week with an update.

21.01.2022 *****IMPORTANT STAGE 4 RESTRICTIONS ANNOUNCEMENT***** Dear MELBOURNE customers. Regrettably our MELBOURNE Groomers are not able to continue working throughout ...the current Stage 4 Lockdowns. Therefore we have decided to cease grooming in Melbourne for the time being. We continue to seek exemptions from the government bodies to enable emergency cases for dogs to have their grooming needs met as soon as we are able. We will keep you updated as more information comes to light. Please take care of yourselves and your fur babies. Give your pups a pat from us. See more
21.01.2022 I'm so sorry to write this. But right in the middle of a pandemic out of control I have decided to stop my business during stage 4. Despite every available precaution in place I still see it as an unnecessary risk. This is a personal decision that I have made on behalf of my own business. I will be in touch with all dogs booked over the next 6 weeks to advise. I'm bunkering down to stay safe and do my part. Keep safe everyone.
21.01.2022 Leo's cuteness cannot be captured in a photo
20.01.2022 Its not all work. Alot of the time is just paid cuddles really. Zephyr you can come home with me little one
19.01.2022 Violets pretty chuffed to get through her 2nd ever groom. Shes not 100% sure about it all. But me being supportive and reassuring will see that improve big time
19.01.2022 Well we are back on the road! I will be in touch shortly to reschedule appointments. Please note I am unable to take on new grooming clients at this time as my priority is my existing customers. Thankyou for your patience.
18.01.2022 Not all grooming is fancy. Some grooming is just damn essential for comfort. I am sure this dog will feel so much more comfortable and ready for summer.
17.01.2022 Ever wondered how trusting dogs are to go into a trailer for a groom with a stranger? How about considering a dog with a sensory deficit (totally blind) like Kyobi. Completely trusting and every time I groom him he melts me more. These are the true earth angels. Spending time with them is a privledge
16.01.2022 So Vic we've done this before. No dog grooming services from midnight tonight for at least 7 days. Keep safe everyone and check in on your friends and family members. And look after your fur babies.
16.01.2022 So still not on the road yet. Hang in there guys. I have done a tentative grooming schedule to commence when restrictions end. I'll get to you I promise but please be patient.
16.01.2022 Okay okay had to behave and not throw Zephyr in the car and hide away to my house. Such a well behaved and CUTE puppy
16.01.2022 Omg little Gracie cuddles are seriously the best
16.01.2022 Waiting patiently for Mum. Bless them
15.01.2022 Ive noticed an increase in the anxiety of some dogs being groomed. Dogs that are usually quiet are fidgety. Some that are cruzey with nails being clipped are now reactive. Not all dogs. But some. I asked myself why? And to me its clear. A lot of our dogs are already predisposed to anxiety and they have tipped over the edge. Why does this happen? Dogs are very sensitive. Switched into reading energy and feeding off their owner. Ever noticed your dog becoming sad when your em...otional? Noticed your dog happy because your happy? Right now everyones day to days are vastly different because of Covid 19 restrictions/job losses etc . Whether we acknowledge it or not we are all to some extent shouldering an extra stress burden. You may not feel it but I bet your dog does. So innocently we may be generating extra stress in our dogs. How do we manage this? Firstly acknowledge it yourself. Try to provide a similiar routine to your dogs previous where possible. Mostly, its about looking after yourself. Dont give your dog a hard time if hes not himself. Hes doing the best he can in weird times. Give your dog a cuddle and tell him its going to be ok. See more
14.01.2022 Two babies done and brilliantly behaved. Well bred sensible cavoodle puppies demonstrating awesome handling by their owners.
13.01.2022 I thought a mop turned up today! But alas no it was Lexy coming for her first ever groom. And it took a bit of time but she got done. Puppies need time. Everything is new and a little bit scary. But with lots of treats and cuddles we finished. And she left with kisses and a wagging tail. Well done Lexy.
13.01.2022 Lets talk dog coats. I dont generally walk my dogs in coats. Why? Because they can overheat quickly. Exercising dogs causes them to heat up generally to a comfortable temperature quickly. Unless your dog is very young, clipped, old, unwell or low in fat score such as a greyhound they shouldnt wear coats walking. Agreed most dogs can benefit from coats or shelter of some sort if living outside. Please rethink use of coats for inside dogs unless heating isnt on. One of mine ...is clipped and the other is a greyhound. On this 2 degree morning a short walk with coats is ok. If I was walking longer I would ditch the coats midwalk. A light rain jacket with no padding is suitable to protect dogs when walking in the rain. I also keep surplus stocks of coats in my van to give away to suitable dogs and owners and am always happy to educate about what type of coat best suits your dog. See more
12.01.2022 Busy girl I am! Lucky I am blessed with great dogs to groom. Eddie is such a well behaved boy and such a joy to give cuddles too
12.01.2022 Had heaps of fun with newbies Mia and Gem. Cavoodles. And so well behaved. Well done girls
12.01.2022 Very old dogs melt my heart. They often have sensitive skin, struggle with athritis and heat regulation. Tano is the dearest old soul and will feel much more comfortable to face our summer.
11.01.2022 Georgie girls mum said the kids at the park thought she was a sheep. Ha ha. Poor puppy. Feeling a lot better now. Georgie has been with me from a puppy and she has settled so much. She is a delight to groom.
10.01.2022 Absolutely love doing cockers. They are a relatively easy groom and have cute temperaments. Cooper chatted to me the whole way through. Beautiful man
10.01.2022 I live in the real world and I absolutely appreciate some customers cannot afford grooming at this time. But please keep up your brushing particularly of the doodle breeds so they dont become matted and uncomfortable.
09.01.2022 2nd beautiful golden cocker of the week. And dear Rosie is such a beautiful girl to do. Makes my job easy

06.01.2022 I think Buzz is going to love me the next few days! Getting hot big time
06.01.2022 A lovely dog to finish off the day. Sensitive dogs call for calm and gentle handling. And Leo is such a beautiful adorable and sweet dog.
05.01.2022 This little cutie pie was a stress head at the salon. Why? Its hard to know. But probably too much noise, too long away from Mum and too many other dog smells and he was always overwhelmed coming home wrecked. And tonight this is his bright little face after a groom in the big blue dog. This is why mobile works for so many dogs. He dances, he cuddles and hes adorable. Beautiful Leo!
03.01.2022 Well Mo Mo you were a cute handful. Full of puppy enthusiasm. But you got done and considering it was your first time EVER you really did well.
02.01.2022 Get this. Geordies FIRST ever groom. 5 months and an absolute angel. Bless you little one
