19.01.2022 To all my lovely clients, After much investigation and hours on the phone to government bodies by the Blue Wheelers team, regrettably there is no definitive answer from the government as to whether we are allowed to continue working throughout the stage 4 lockdown. With such uncertainty it has been decided that it is the in the best interest for our community and in the spirit of what we are all trying to achieve together in combating the spread of coronavirus, that we cease... grooming in Melbourne for the time being. While the health, hygiene and happiness of my beloved 4 legged clients and their families is very important to me, these are unprecedented times and it is important that I play my part. I will be in contact with those of you who have made bookings over the coming days and I am sorry I am not able to groom your dogs at this stage. If you need urgent care, there are a number of vets in our area who can assist with emergency maintenance. Please watch this space for details and updates for a return to work date. In the meantime, I will be sharing some posts outlining what you can do to care for your dogs at home. Thank you again for your continued support. 18.01.2022 Hi All, Please find a new petition below to get mobile groomers and home salons able to operate alongside fixed venue sites from the 28th September also. The more signatures we can get, the higher likelihood we get noticed. After all, we did get noticed from the first petition with about 20k signatures. 12.01.2022 To my lovely clients, You may have heard that retail dog grooming salons will be reopening in the second step of the Victorian Government’s Roadmap on 28 September. Unfortunately this does not include mobile or home grooming services, which are currently flagged to reopen on 26 October. https://www.vic.gov.au/second-step-coronavirus-road-to-reco... Our team at Blue Wheelers head office are working tirelessly to have our case heard for a return mobile grooming before the third step on 26 October, but we are unable to announce any changes to the existing directive at this time. I have appealed to the local Kooyong MP, Josh Frydenberg in writing, which is something you may also wish to consider. In the meantime, if your pet is unable to wait for me and you can schedule an appointment at your local salon, please do. Your fur baby’s health is most important. 03.01.2022 Happy new year to all my lovely clients, both two and four legged! I’ll be closed until 11 January, with bookings currently available from 6th February. I am so pleased that I'll be back in action, looking after your fur babies after all these weeks. Thank you all for your patience. I'll be in touch to remind those with bookings over the coming weeks of the confirmed details. ... My next availability for new bookings is currently 28 November. 01.01.2022 Not even Daniel Andrews could justify this, could he? Labor's announcement for sole traders has many issues. None more than this: Mobile Dog Groomers were NOT i...ncluded as part of the Pet Groomers ability to re-open on 28 September, and that was cruel enough. Now Daniel Andrews has denied Mobile Groomers getting access to the same grant groomers leasing a shop will get. This is not fair, Premier you can't deny them the ability to trade and then deny them the support they deserve.
