23.01.2022 Good morning & happy Wednesday On Monday gone, I said to Nicole that My skin has been feeling so dry, dull, sometimes itchy and that it had aged in lockdown. Winter is not my friend, Im always cold so my vitamin D levels are low as I roast myself in front of my fire daily, not doing wonders for my dull, dry skin either, and not to mention having to wear a mask. Although I have access to all the wonderful products at Blush, Im quite basic and stick to the couple products t...hat I know and love. 22.01.2022 MAKEUP EXPIRY yes, we have another lockdown job for you to add to your lists. Not only do you have to wash your makeup brushes but also check in on your makeup products themselves! Because of our mandatory masks atm, people are wearing less makeup and our products are just sitting there unused. Did you know: it is super important to replace your mascara every 3-6 months? Nope? Then pop it straight in the bin girlfriend! When makeup goes past its expiration da...te, the chemical compounds that create the product can begin to break down into other compounds that arent as friendly for your skin, especially if you have sensitive skin! Basically - The older makeup gets, the less it works, and the more bacteria it builds. Nicole did the makeup clear out last week. 18.01.2022 BLUSHETTES IN LOCKDOWN When youve been in Lockdown for a little too long, a filter is very much needed along with a little impromptu photoshoot with your three favourite products in the hopes to create some sort of social media content after a very deflating announcement on Sunday. We cant get back to what we love doing just yet so we will be gracing you all with our faces until then so you dont forget us, and because its the best we can do with what we have so here ...I am with my all time favourite products at Blush. I have been a Blushette for 8.5 years now so have tried, tested and loved a lot of products along the way but these 3 are my must haves. 1. EYENVY - I reckon Ive gone through 5 of these tubes since we have stocked it in salon! The results speak for themselves. Incredible serum for lash and brow growth. This bottle is actually bone dry , and has been for months but as soon as we restock this product it flies out the door! 2. YOUTH ACTIVATING OIL BALM - Im not technical when it comes to my skin routine I just know that I love this product sick and always have, perfect for my dry Winter skin. 3.
