07.01.2022 This just popped up in my memories from when I wrote it 2 years ago and it is still just as relevant, and always will be So for anyone who needs to hear it... Can we talk about body image for a second? As a teacher, a fashion label owner and as a woman in general, nothing saddens me more than when a gorgeous young girl completely fails to see her own beauty because she’s too caught up in the societal standard of ‘beauty’. Yes, the standard of beauty is slowly shifting fo...r the better but no, that doesn’t mean you need to live up to them. The only person you need to live up to is yourself. Stop worrying about what other people think is beautiful and start caring about how you actually feel with all of that aside. You don’t have to love everything about yourself. No one is perfect and even the most beautiful woman will have her insecurities. You simply have to accept yourself flaws and all, know your own beauty and love your own uniqueness.
