09.01.2022 Whiney, whingey, people are doing it way tougher than you, it could be worse! Yep, I get it. I’ve heard it all before. I’m not living in a worn torn country, I have my health and family, we still live in a lucky country to some extent but fuck me do I miss my girl gang, I miss going to restaurants, interacting, not hearing about death rates, the rise and fall in cases in covid. I’ve completely stopped watching the news. It’s just too overwhelming. I’m aware that in itself is... a privilege and we are lucky to be alive and well without fear of persecution. HOWEVER, give me the biggest bottle of champs, give me some adult conversation that’s not with my immediate family, a warm hug and kiss from other loved ones with some sunshine in my face. Anyone else struggling with lockdown 2.0? We really miss seeing our clients and watching you head out, to hit the town, special events and significant celebrations and I’m not making any more excuses as to why it sucks .
