19.01.2022 Some people keep asking why we don't take in unfully vaccinated customers. Most are very nice just double checking if we will allow or not, but some are a bit unkind to us. We have been explained in our opeing rules why we don't take in unfully vaccinated clients (because it is an enforcement from the Government and WE HAVE NO CHOICE VUT TO FOLLOW), even though we want to welcome everyone!!! WE NEVER WANT TO REFUSE YOU OURSELVES. It is the choice each of us made, and vaccinat...ed or not, both has the trade-off. Each of us decided to be vaccinated or not by ourselves, knowing all pros and cons, so please bare the trade-off too and please do not feel frustrated towards us. As a small business struggling to survive, we have been doing our best to keep moving on. We are stressful with everything, from the center rent which we owed during the lockdown period, to the crazy supplies prices which are jumping to the roof, to the tight restrictions enforced by the Government, to the shortage of staffing this Xmas as the border is still closed and many technicians were stuck outside of Australian borders, etc... We just want to focus our mind into serving who we can serve. No one wants dramas. We don't want too. We just want to leave all stress on the side and be happy at work, to welcome who we can see again with a big smile, and to at least asking how have you been during the lockdown, "are you safe & sound?", etc. As everyone has already known, let's wait for the 1th of Dec for more freedom. At least we can still do your Xmas nails, so please think of the best, not the worst. We appreciate your kind understanding. 13.01.2022 #Covid19 is making our life so vulnerable. Many of our customers have been asking us if we would sell face masks, or could share some with them (as everyone knows we always wear face masks at work, even before Covid19). For us face masks are vital at work, since our jobs force us to live with tiny, or even micro dirt every day. Now, face masks became even much more important, as it partially help protect us and our customers from potential virus which may spread through dropl...ets in the air or the surface around because of unknown infected people. We have seen the raising needs for face masks, however we are very disappointed with the unbelievable prices that our suppliers and all Aussie websites have been selling face masks for. We are aware that different types of masks will cost differently, but it's been at least 5-10 times since we bought the face masks before Covid19 breakout. The worse is the quality of masks are terrible while the price was pushed higher and higher. Vietnam is one of the country which manage Covid19 very well, and where many high quality products are made in. We have been in touch with a manufacturer in Vietnam with the hope of importing some high quality face masks at the reasonable price. The international shipping fee is super costly at the moment, but the manufacturer is so supportive to offer us a good price for their high quality face masks. This is the re-usable/washable high quality face mask which we consider more friendly to the environment while having antibacterial and droplets proof features. We are going to sell these masks to people who need them so no one has to buy the bad quality masks at an expensive price. We expect the selling price is $5 each mask, or $45 per box of 10 masks. We consider the price is fair while quality is so good. We'll use these masks at our store too. We will also donate the masks to vulnerable communities such as elderlies at the nursing homes, week patients and poor residents. We are having too many duplicate bookings and it's hard for us to filter all requests. ... Regardless of how much we try, there's the chance that we double booked you in our system at the different times or days if you made multiple bookings. Hence, if you find out you have multiple bookings on our bookings (please see separate posts for the booking list of each day), please let us know ASAP, so we can reserve that unneeded time for another customer who is waiting to be fitted in. 2. Please double check our booking list for each day before you decide to make a booking to make sure you don't keep booking at the hours we're already full!! This will help us process your bookings faster too. 3. Please honor your current booking once you got the confirmation from us. We refuse other customers to take you in, and changing the time or day at the last minutes can have a bigger consequence to us and other customers. 4. We had to rescheduled many bookings as we were fully booked at the time you requested. If you receive the confirmation notice, please click on the blue link attached to see the actual hour or date we confirmed. If needing reschedule, we selected the earliest available hour on the same day for you already. If for some reasons you are not happy with the time we scheduled for you, please cancel early so we can fit another customer in. 5. At the moment we cannot do normal polish due to our tight schedule. We may, in some cases, accept doing clear normal polish or no polish (e.g. Pedicure, manicure) if we have many available vacancies at that particular time frame 6. We tried to call many customers via mobile phone as we don't have access to our shop phone at the moment. Many answered our calls and got their services rescheduled, but many refused to take strange phone calls, so we cannot help, and had to cancel or not proceed with the bookings. 10.01.2022 UPDATES EVERYONE!! The center rejected our will to sell the masks, saying we were not registered to sell the masks in our lease We saw many other stores selling the low quality masks even though "they weren't registered to sell the masks" too, but only us are not allowed to sell.... Why we decided to sell the masks? 1. The mask is just a tool or an amenity we use at work. We think the nail shop is the most related business which can sell masks, similar to if we sell nail polish, nail buffers or clippers. We should have the right to sell our tools. 2. We do this for non-profit purposes: 2.1. Give people an access to high quality masks which they couldn't find in the market, and at a much cheaper price than all other stores and websites are selling. 2.2. Gifting people in need, especially vulnerable communities such as nursing homes, weak patients, homeless, etc. 2.3. All profit generated from the sales if having will be donated to the charities, including animal rescues. We spent money from our own pocket to import these masks, but won't want take back a single cent of this amount into our pocket. We'll give all to the selected charities. We apology for any inconvenience, but we are not allowed to sell the masks at our store. We are very sad, and a bit upset, but we will still gift the masks to the members of nearby shops and the local nursing homes as planned.
