23.01.2022 Get excited people... especially my regular brow clients Im back and taking bookings now - reopening Wednesday 2nd September Im still numb on my right side and can feel bruising still but today when I went to the dentist I responded to more cold so its sign things are improving. I see a specialist on Tuesday too so hopefully Im on the mend! ... See you all soon

23.01.2022 Hi All.. I thought I would post an update! Im on day 4 of recovery and my recovery is going a bit longer then expected. I ended up having all 4 wisdom teeth removed along with a heap of fillings and a clean! originally the 4th wisdom tooth was staying put as it was under the bone but since my last X-ray it was now pushing on my teeth. Glad all 4 are gone so I only have the one recovery but unfortunately Im still numb on my right lower lip, chin and right side of my fac...e. Dentist is confident my nerve is still intact but Im back Monday to have my fillings polished and investigate the numbness as to what recovery Im looking at, whether my nerve is bruised or what. Im still quite swollen on the right side too. Fingers crossed numbing has subsided by then. Ill keep you all updated with my return to work

21.01.2022 10 years ago today I qualified as a professional beauty therapist. It was also the day my son turned 2. Hes today, 12 I started studying full time when he was 1, it was not a cheap course at all but I paid every cent of it myself. It was a hectic and stressful year but I did it on my own and I was and still am so proud of myself. I also completed my make up course aswell, but I dont display my certificate as its not something I continued on. 10 years on Ive worked in ...salons, met and learnt from some beautiful ladies especially Karen Rudge and now have my own successful home business. 16.01.2022 I am aware there is another home beauty business in Baldivis using the same logos as me. Ive had my logos well over a year now so I have approached the business to come to a resolution however she is not willing to change The logos unfortunately are not watermarked by myself and I would not be bothered if this were in a different suburb however being in the same suburb and beauty industry it just doesnt seem right to use the same logos. I would like to think us beauty gir...ls can all have a point of difference but stick together at the same time! Thank you for the messages of support and to those that let me know. Seriously just what I needed right now Its disappointing I may have to consider changing my logos as I loved my business image and its been my branding for some time. I guess I will be the bigger person and take it as a compliment it will only drive me to do better

Literally smelled like musk sticks and now I have a craving Sweet Aroma Scents Roxanne you nailed this one! ... I’m officially converted and never using store bought body wash again! 04.01.2022 Hi All Sorry I havent got on here to update you all on my reopening. For the meantime I will be remaining closed with the hope to reopen as of Wednesday 2nd. Unfortunately Im in that 1% of statistics and Im suffering with dental Paresthesia its where Im numb on the right side of my teeth, gum, lower lip, and chin. ... My X-ray is showing that I have a lot of pressure very close to my nerve. The tooth wasnt meant to be extracted for the risk that this could happen, but I woke up with the tooth gone, so Im just trying to get my head around it all and give myself the time to hopefully heal and get my nerve feeling back. Im off on sick leave now as I am having my wisdom teeth removed and a few fillings completed. I hope to be back as soon as possible! 02.01.2022 Well to end my busy week.. Harlyn ended up needing surgery. She was coming into the house from the garage. The garage door was open so the wind picked up the shoppers entry door and slammed on her finger her nail came off and her nail bed split. No broken finger thankfully but was a deep split. There was blood everywhere! Lucky enough Matt was home, so he held pressure while I drove to the hospital. I have to say Rockingham was amazing that day, a doctor met us straight ...away and took us for treatment, then we were off to Fiona Stanley for surgery. Meanwhile tyler missed the school bus so I had to go pick him up and Matt needed emergency dental treatment for a root canal that was giving him pain. They say things come in 3 right?! Sorry to those I havent got back to in my inbox, I will get back to you all soon. Little miss who keeps me on my toes is back to her normal self and should be better in no time

I will not be open for the remainder of August after the 17th so that I can recover. I will announce when I reopen once I know how Im going. 01.01.2022 You may have noticed I haven’t been posting as much lately. I had been overwhelmed with how busy I was getting and I decided to just take a deep breath and give my best to my regular clientele. I am super thankful for the BLUSH family I do have The forced shutdown we had during Covid was abit of a blessing for me as I was struggling to balance work, life and my mental health so it taught me to slow down. ... So this is your reminder to get your Christmas bookings in as its already looking to be a busy week and I would hate to see people miss out as I will not be taking last minute appointments and squeezing in where I can.
