19.01.2022 Brooks Lookout was badly burnt on April 16, 2019. Infrastructure has been restored & in June 2019 some of the local species (along with plenty of weeds) are popping up from seeds or underground tubers.

10.01.2022 Wonder if anyone has a clue as to why one binder cuts on the left side the other on the right - both photos from different farms at Hart, 10kms north of Blyth on Zweck (1939) & McEwin (c.1935) farms. I thought perhaps one photo was originally developed in reverse, but landscape behind looks correct..

05.01.2022 Brooks Lookout was burnt out on April 16 2019. Community members have been busy repairing the fences etc & will later plant some shrubs & wildflowers on the site. Thanks to Barrie Smith for these pics. Already, seeds are germinating, so will be fascinating to watch the progress over next few years.

03.01.2022 Each Anzac Day we gather at the Blyth War Memorial to give thanks for the service so many men & women gave in the wars in which Australia has participated, & sadly in some cases lost their lives in our defence.



02.01.2022 The scenic Blyth Golf Course is a challenge for those who have never played on "scrapes". low course fees, payable at the golf clubhouse.
