24.01.2022 We’ve been a bit quiet of late, had been busy pushing jobs out so we could enjoy a much needed family holiday and then playing catch up on our return. But here’s the lovely recycled hardwood hall table we’d been working on, finished in Osmo Oil and looking great. 24.01.2022 While we’re been a bit quiet online things have still been busy for us during Lockdown 2.0. Like a lot of people we’ve been juggling remote learning for our 2 young kids (Prep and Grade 3), working and still pushing on with jobs at home. But when Brad decided to get creative with the new personnel door to the workshop it inspired our son to give woodcarving a go too here he is hard at work on his second piece - what a fantastic way to use offcuts!! 21.01.2022 It’s been a long time in the making but the doors are finally getting closer to locking up our new shed. They are all recycled timber, stiles and rails are Douglas Fir and the panels are Baltic Pine floorboards. All joins are wedged mortice and tennon joints - very time consuming but well worth the effort. 21.01.2022 It’s amazing the difference a coat of oil makes!! These Baltic pine floorboards, reclaimed from a house originally from the historic Walhalla township have been made into door panels.
