23.01.2022 We haven't really machined a lot of 316 stainless steel in the past so this job was a good way to freshen up on old skills.

11.01.2022 Customer bought these Carbide plates from the States only to find out the sizes were wrong, instead of sending them back to be fixed they sent them to us. Outer diameter, bore and overall width needed to be ground.

10.01.2022 Often we get jobs that are urgent and have to improvise, this was one of them. Customer needed a 3/4" UNF O-ring form tool with quick turn around, the only way we could do this quickly for them was modify an old broken tool.

07.01.2022 Chris from Chris' Porting Service dropped off this crank shaft which needed a second keyway milled 180 to existing keyway to suit the harmonic balancer supplied.

02.01.2022 Customer needed a tool which could knurl/ bruise the surface of a internal form radius by hand. They currently use a similar tool for a different job. Off the shelf chisel modified with a 6.5mm radius ground on the optical profile grinder.
