23.01.2022 More panels constructed today, internal cabin going well.

22.01.2022 Son did some 3D modeling for me. Tail light and indicator enclosures.

19.01.2022 Rear end completed to hold the new tank. Make a Couple of top A arms for the front end. The new shocks I have are making me rethink the front suspension setup, may go push rod setup.

18.01.2022 Didn’t have much time to work on the car over the weekend .Only clean up on the frame and painting done.

18.01.2022 Frame is in primer. Need to change the back end to fit a bigger tank.

18.01.2022 Front Radiator mounted, now playing around with the front bumper.

17.01.2022 Floor panel and rear bulk head panels made. 4mm ally core panels. Total sheet weight is about 1-2 kg more than 2 mm solid Ally sheet. Mockup on the front again.

15.01.2022 Hi gents , was able to get some hats over the weekend, looking at the blanks of course. I have a few pattens that I have done , I can do a couple changes. Like removing the BMW and change it to your Rego maybe. Or just have the Lotus 7 image by itself. Gents looking at the cost for the hat for $30 each with design. Postage is of course extra. There are 2 different quality to the hats ... 1. Flexifit. ( very high quality hat)(stamp on the brim )I try and pic them up when they are cheaper.( City beach) 2. 15.01.2022 More welding but when you run out of gas all you can do is grind and grind. Primer the joints and then do parts cleaning.

14.01.2022 I think I can call this version 3.0 front suspension.

14.01.2022 Old shocks cleaned up come up a treat

12.01.2022 Did some shopping over the last couple of weeks. The car is going Mangrove in colour. And the lights have the E3 symbol.

12.01.2022 Working on the BMW power plant today. Stripping and cleaning.

12.01.2022 Rear frame in the rebuild stage, Commence work on the radiator setup.

11.01.2022 Back on all 4 wheels, Couple more items to weld up for the shocks and the rear end suspension completed.

07.01.2022 Brackets & Brackets and front end setup. New design, push rod suspension.(fully Adjustable).

03.01.2022 Thanks to every one for the comments, like and friend requests. I started this page to keep a record of my progress for my build. I posted it so maybe I could help others or show what I am doing in Australia. I do not claim to be the best welder or Fabricator in the world, I am building this for me. This is not going to be a build that I turn around and sell when I have had enough. This is something I have wanted to do for years and I now have some time to do it.... I do not have pockets full of money to hand over the counter and pay someone to manufacture a part or buy the best shock, engine, gearbox or other parts. I am doing this the way it was originally intended. LOW COST. I do not mind Criticism or comments but if they are not helpful or in a smartarse way. I do not need them. Keep your fingers off the keyboard and scroll to the next page. Again thanks to everyone for liking my page and posts. I will continue to enjoy building MY car and keep you posted on my progress.

01.01.2022 Cleaning Day 2. 3 x cans of heavy duty Degreaser and a 1/3 bag of rags. Engine, Intake, engine mounts, brackets, headers and front break calipers. Also work on the rear wing setout.
