25.01.2022 My May guests have finally arrived! Having to postpone their initial trip due to the events of 2020. Unfortunately, the reason they were visiting FNQ still put on hold, they decided to come for a getaway. A healthy breakfast of Muesli and Yogurt, with a little buttery Croissant on the side. And don't forget the Coffee! 22.01.2022 Another return guest, the first to use my table and chairs inside the Family Room. A little wet to sit outside, the tropics sent us more of their joyful tears, the weather and beautiful temp' here is what we should be grateful for at this time. The Breakfast looks a little different this morning, the 'New Normal!' All 4 serves, on the first morning. At least I don't have to wear gloves and a mask as I prepare his fare every morning.

13.01.2022 A lovely family from Airley Beach. A favourite holiday destination of ours (I say this with reference to myself and my son, when we were travelling together). Visiting The Nest for part of the school holidays. Though still partly cloudy, the weather put on its magic charm as only Cairns knows how. Allowing them to venture about, Atherton, Port Douglas, Daintree and #Skyrail were all on their agenda!
