24.01.2022 - NOOSA REPORT - As predicted last week the spotties have started to show up along with the Spanish. Although not in large numbers they are definitely up on the last week. With this rain and the new moon the Noosa River will be flushing bait into the bay which means the reefies will be chewing too.

This has been great for the rivers as they are starting to push out all the weed and silt that has been building up. 04.01.2022 Sunshine Coast Report: A few charters did well to punch through the swell on the bar and head out to wider marks to score a good mixed bag. Double Island is always a favourite when the sea’s allow and the catch consisted of snapper, cobia, mahi mahi, tuskies, sweetlip, AJ’s and jewfish.

03.01.2022 - GOLD COAST REPORT - Cooler weather combined with wind and showers for majority of the last week has greeted anglers on the Tweed and Gold Coast. Tuesday and Wednesday were the best days to hit the water, if you are keen to get out over the weekend the forecast is looking fairly good with lighter N/NE winds and a drop in swell which will put a smile on offshore anglers faces.

03.01.2022 - BUNDABERG REPORT - With the recent rains there has been a nice bit of fresh run-off and it has been stirring up the mud crabs. The mangrove jacks have been firing with the recent storms. They have been caught using a few different methods, like top water lures such as the MMD Splash Prawn in the early morning and late evening.

Recent electrofishing surveys revealed a staggering three-fold increase in barramundi numbers at the 36 sites where structures have been installed in the dam.
