24.01.2022 Friday means time for another Dr M 10 Year Flashback (TM). Thank you to our beautiful patient who has agreed to share her results. This is another example of combination CO2 and Erbium:YAG resurfacing.... Note the significant on tone and texture on the whole face in general. The procedure was performed under light sedation, and required 2 weeks recovery. A maintenance plan involving Fraxel, Thermage, Peels and Injectables will maintain improvements. All invasive procedures carry risk. Please obtain a second opinion from a suitably qualified medical practitioner before proceeding. Results may vary. Have a great weekend!! #laseredbyDrM #10yearflashback #dermatologist #plasticsurgery #facelift #antiaging #injectables #co2laser #ultrapulse #ablativelaser #threadlift #brisbanedermatolgist #australianfacelift #sundamage #facialplasticsurgery #lasertreatment #erbiumyag #injectables #fraxel #thermage

14.01.2022 Are you ready for a new concept in pigment treatments! Proud to be able to share some of the success stories with our melasma patients this week, ahead of the big launch of our new project at the end of the week! Melasma (or chloasma) is a common disorder of pigmentation, occurring predominantly in women. Seen exclusively on the sun-exposed areas of the face, it is often associated with pregnancy and use of the oral contraceptive pill, and is the result of vascular and pig...ment cell over-activity. Causes of melasma include genetic predisposition, sun exposure, hormonal factors (oral contraceptive pill, hormone replacement therapy, intrauterine device, implants), cosmetics and fragrances. At Brisbane Skin, Dr Manoharan @drshobhanmanoharan has spent a decade creating treatment and maintenance plans for this common condition. We are about to launch our specialist Melasma Skin Programme at the end of this week, so keep an eye out for details on this Australian First specialist clinic!! #melasma #pigment #pigmentclinic #pigmentspecialist #laseredbydrM #dermatologist #skincare #skinspecialist #sunprotection #pigmentexpert #skinofcolour

07.01.2022 The treatment of acne scars is often a process. Combination treatments are utilised at various intervals to break down scarring, promote collagen remodelling, improve tone, texture and colour, and replenish lost volume. Dr M @ is one of the Australia’s most accomplished acne scar specialists, and provides treatment plans, and combination treatments to guide many through outstanding outcomes.... Here, our patient has had 2 sessions combining subscision, the fractional CO2 resurfacing and scar softening injections, after previously having less satisfactory results with filler at another practice. Fillers are an important part of treating some patients acne scars associated with volume loss, but without manually breaking down tethered scars by subscision, and heat from laser or RF needling inducing remodelling, results are often limited or short lasting. See an expert who can combine all forms of scar treatments to ensure the optimal outcome. All invasive procedures carry risk. Please obtain a second opinion from a suitably qualified medical practitioner before proceeding. Results may vary.
