Elizabeth was discussing how you can soften your stance and the way you sit when having your photo taken and how it can make a massive difference to the end result showing us examples. Our Oscar winner this week was Belinda from Inside Out Nutritional Therapy for providing the most memorable 60-second presentation, woohoo! Belinda was telling us how gargling after brushing your teeth has many health benefits including boosting your energy. But they've taken it a step further this year by (somehow) convincing Jared to shave his magnificent beard for the reasonable sum of $7,500. 16.01.2022 So how about that rain today? Who cares right? It was still a wonderful morning at our weekly business meeting with some of the best entrepreneurs and business owners in Mackay, bar none!!... Today was the day the kids went back to school, woohoo I hear you say but it did leave us missing a few of the magical team but that didn't stop the rest of us, professionals, in fact, we managed to get through things a little quicker leaving a little more time for networking after the meeting was finished, sometimes that's where the magic happens Our latest renewal was Elizabeth Andrews from Liz Andrews Photography & Design. Liz has 7 years under her BNI belt and we are very grateful for her continued membership, thank you Liz and welcome onboard We had our very own Shaun from NB Industries present his 10 minute feature presentation providing a little about his background and the business he works with. Collectively, our members were all wondering what the 'NB' from NB Industries meant and Shaun told us it was 'Northern Beaches' so the full business name is Northern Beaches Industries, pretty awesome right? Shaun was very informative and hilarious, well done Shaun Speaking of Shaun, as it turns out he won this week's oscar for delivering the most memorable 60 second presentation, this pro was on today, well done Shaun Shaun was telling us how important it is to get your car wiper blades replaced, which should be at least once per year, usually at maintenance time. With our hot climate, your wiper blades can deteriorate and become ineffective. So with the wet season upon us, maybe you should drop in and get Shaun at NB Industries to check your wiper blades and if they need replaced only pay $30.00, which is a small price to pay for your friends, family and loved one's safety. Kimberley was today's winner of the Door Prize, which was a lovely prize of a meal at the Coral Cay Resort, amazing really if you never worked there Shaun will kindly provide her with another prize that's not work-related, hey let's be honest though the food is well recommended at the Coral Cay Resort so if you around feel free to book a table. 15.01.2022 This year BNI Pioneer has taken on the Movember Challenge. Some of our members are growing mo's and some have opted to complete physical challenges. We've all had a bit of a year and we can't think of a better time than now to rally and do something to help improve the future of men'shealth for the greater benefit of everyone. If you're not familiar, all money raised goes towards Men's Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, Prostate Cancer and Testicular Cancer. Stay tuned for updates on our activities and drop us a donation if you want to contribute towards making a change.

14.01.2022 Well, another week is nearly over as we head towards the weekend, giving us an opportunity to either down tools, push on or take some well deserved time off to spend with our families and friends. Tuesday morning saw us with an almost full house, which is absolutely amazing as the more of us there are the more opportunities are available within our networking group. David Tranter shared information about his lovely family, how his business come into fruition and how they have recently expanded to the Gold Coast, great work David Tranter and the team at TranTech Computers. Our Oscar winner this week for the best 60-second presentation was Todd Laister from Tropical Pest Control Mackay, woohoo! Todd Laister shared how he tests for termites and the equipment he uses to find likely places where termites could be living, great work Todd Laister and the team at Tropical Pest Control Mackay. Tuesday is nearly upon us and some of us are already planning next weeks business growth activities.
