Book in for next weeks Thursday breakfast meeting to hear from our Carpet and Flooring specialist Marica from Carpet Culture Flooring Xtra on all things flooring!

19.01.2022 People sometimes ask how do we give so many referrals in BNI. Well, in order to better understand the referral needs of fellow members, it is also important to do great 1-2-1s with them. In BNI, this means having a structured meeting to understand the fellow member's referral needs as well as their business so we can speak with confidence about them and give them business. Congratulations to one of our newest members, Tom Rose, for having done the most 1-2-1s in the chapter for October. Well done.

19.01.2022 With a great bunch of like-minded professionals, networking online at BNI Southern Business is fun, relaxing and rewarding. Pay us a visit and see for yourself.

18.01.2022 Giving referrals is one thing and then having that reward that the referral was successful is wonderful. That's what BNI is all about - what we call Givers Gain. So well done to Peter Rusbourne for the most business given for October. No coincidence that Peter also gave the most referrals in the same month and proving that BNI does work.

18.01.2022 Hey team... looking for something to do ? Bridgeclimb is a client of mine and has some great deals on at the moment to entice the locals into the bridge.

12.01.2022 Another fundamental of BNI is getting to Know, Like and Trust your fellow members so you have a better opportunity to give them referrals. We do this in a structured manner to maximise the exchange. Well done to our commercial lawyer, Peter Rusbourne of Watkins Tapsell, for your giving spirt and spending the most time with new and long standing members during September.

08.01.2022 ABOVE & BEYOND. We would like to give a big shout out to one of our members who is also our regional Director Consultant, Jayme Smith of Excite Safety. Jayme is... also the Vice President of our Southern Business Chapter. In the last month, Jayme has helped in the training of hundreds of BNI members around the country through running and assisting in the National MSP and National Leadership Training workshops. He has done this with a true Givers Gain approach and we would like to recognise his massive effort. Thank you Jayme on behalf of BNI NSW South. For those who have not had the pleasure of meeting Jayme, I suggest you arrange a 1-2-1 and at least send him a message of thanks. Jayme is the Director at Excite Safety and his experience in the field is extensive, with qualifications in Nursing, Maritime operations, Surf Rescue, Fire Safety and Workplace Safety. From his years as an emergency department nurse he has seen first hand what happens when things go wrong and how it could have been prevented. Jayme will ensure that your staff have a fun and memorable training experience when learning about safety. https://www.excitesafety.com.au/about/

03.01.2022 Passing referrals is the key to being a successful BNI member and so we congratulate Peter Rusbourne for giving the most referrals during October. In BNI, giving a qualified referral takes time and it also means that Peter has been listening to his fellow members referral requests and then recognises and seizes opportunities to pass a referral. So well done Peter showing the power of BNI to help businesses grow.

03.01.2022 Epic morning at BNI Southern Business Feature speaker Michele Hutchen Mortgage Choice Gymea Guests Frederick Marcoux and Paul English

03.01.2022 The BNI Foundation has created a GoFundme page. Donations received will be allocated through the normal Givers Gain grant process developed by BNI Foundation Australia focussing on Children and their Education. Together with local BNI Members the Foundation will reach out to Schools and related organisations in fire affected Communities to identify needs. Funds raised will be used to purchase items required to meet these needs and minimise the impact the fires have on children and their education. Examples of the most likely projects will include access to clean clothes, drinking water and school supplies. https://www.gofundme.com/f/bnifoundationaustralia

03.01.2022 Bringing guests to a BNI meeting helps expose fellow members to a wider network and "you never know who is going to be in the room". You also never know who might be interested to join. So another thanks to Amanda Defries of Savvy Design Solutions for bringing in the most visitors during September.

02.01.2022 Visitors are an important part of any BNI chapter's success and statistics have shown that around 40% of the business passed in a chapter can be attributed to visitors coming in and doing business with members. So well done to Dave Delaney for bringing the most visitors during October - leading by example our President Dave. If you would like to visit our group to see what BNI is all about, then click on the button on this page or contact Dave or one of our other members.

02.01.2022 So who is Shane? A great presentation from our resident aborist @Ben Lawson from Shanes Trees this morning on who he is, his business and the arborist industry. And if youre wondering just who is Shane? Well for that youll have to catch the next meeting! ;)
