20.01.2022 Some of the equipment in our workshop include a Geka 80/150 punch and shear machine, CEA 400 amp 3 phase welders, bandsaw, pipe bender and threader, roundbar threading machine, 3.5 tonne forklift and just about all other general manufacturing tools. The roller bench was also designed and manufactured in house. Boab Fabrication spend alot of time putting in the groundwork for customers coming up with different ideas and optimizing designs ensuring a quality, cost effective but... outstanding looking product on completion. Dont just settle for rectangle because thats what someone has done before and they convince you its the best available or just good enough. We encourage you to think outside the box or throw us a curveball and let us think for you. We work closely with our draftsmen and engineers and can provide fixed price quotes without finding out later that it costs more because someone didnt know what they were doing or what member sizes are correct for certain structures and projects. We also now supply all castin plates, cleats, plates and other random fittings you might require. 20.01.2022 Progress on the new Humpty Doo Base Building. Supply and fabrication of all structural steel, purlins and associated fittings and fixings with a mixture of abrasive blast and primed and hot dip galvanised material.

17.01.2022 7 Portal frames for a school walkway, designed, fabricated, primed and finish coated. This walkway is 2m wide and 21m long.

16.01.2022 Fabrication of structural steel for a 20x30 meter shed where all the steel had been cut for site welded connections however we needed a significant design change as this was somehow expected to all be site welded up and erected with out protective coatings. Re recalculated all the lengths to recut steel and allow for bolted connections throught the entire shed. Now its been blast and shop primed and is awaiting installation.

14.01.2022 We currently have this design underway in our workshop, designed and engineered with a section 40 certificate this carport shade boasts 220mm pipe columns capped with 100mm SHS stub columns, 150x100x4mm roof beams, 150x50x2mm RHS roof purlins, roof sheets, screws, flashings and all structural bolts. All structural steel will be abrasive blasted to class 2.5, primed and finish coated in your desired colour and delivered to site where ever that may be. Also note that all connec...tions on this kit are bolted making it ideal for the handy bloke or dad to throw up without the requirement for a welder or any other technical tooling. Just a screwgun, shifter and stringlines will nearly see this thing through. Its enormous size will fit the biggest toughest territory 4x4 or that boat with the big cab youve already tried to squeeze under that cute little carport the last bloke stored his tinny under. The rain starts soon and lets face it a boat wet on the deck aint no fun. You pay good money to fish dry so why not spend a few extra dollars and keep the big girl wet on the bottom only this season.
