23.01.2022 Happy Tuesday to all of our followers! And for those of you in Western Australia, we hope you enjoyed the long weekend. Here's another pic of our beautiful coastline (courtesy of @margaretriver on Instagram) We love to spend our weekends driving through winding roads and diving into coastlines like these.
22.01.2022 On the 19th of November there were a number of changes to the 457 program. One of the requirements of the 457 visa is that your occupation is listed on the CSOL. Click on the link to view the latest CSOL, which is the list of occupations currently required in Australia. There's some interesting occupations on there. Can you name a couple of interesting ones? ... Thinking about applying for a 457? How about booking a consultation with one of our Migration Agents to discuss your eligibility. Just drop us a message and we will arrange a time.
21.01.2022 Ever wondered about whether your visa allows you to get a home loan in Australia or not? Here's an article that will provide some information. We can recommend Mortgage Choice - Scott Gillespie for all your mortgage needs :) He will go above and beyond to get you into your own home in Australia.
20.01.2022 Australia is looking for Secondary School Teachers! Did you know that if you hold a degree that is not of an education background, you can complete a Master of Education and then teach as a Secondary School Teacher? For example, if you hold a Bachelor in Marketing, you can then complete the Masters and be a qualified teacher! No need to do a complete Bachelor in Teaching. This has its benefits from a migration perspective. The Secondary School Teacher occupation has been on... the Skilled Occupation List (SOL) for quite some time and doesn't look like being removed in the near future. This particular occupation has the third highest occupation ceiling, meaning there is more teachers being invited to apply for a visa on Australia's GSM program than most other occupations. If you would like to learn more about the GSM program, or discuss your visa eligibility after doing some further study as a Secondary School Teacher, please contact us. Looking forward to hearing from you.

10.01.2022 Calling on young people of the USA aged between 18 and 30!! Thinking of a sea change? Somewhere with white sandy beaches, friendly people and lots of fun opportunities? How does a year in Australia sound? If that sounds appealing, you might want to consider a Work and Holiday visa to Australia. This temporary visa allows young people from the USA (and other eligible countries) to holiday and work in Australia for up to a year.... The visa also allows you to study in Australia for up to 4 months. You can leave and re-enter Australia any number of times while the visa is still valid. And if you work 3 months or more in northern Australia in specified industries, you might be eligible for a second work and holiday for an additional 12 months. For more information, or for information on other visas, please contact us. We would be happy to help.

07.01.2022 A simple error on a visa application can have a detrimental effect, such as what is happening with this Melbourne family. If you are lodging your application without the assistance of a Migration Agent, triple check your answers and get someone else to look over your application too, to ensure you have all questions answered correctly and appropriately. Migration Agents have insight to what Immigration Case Officers are looking for when responding to questions on visa application forms. If you are unsure of how you should respond to a question, feel free to contact us with your query.

05.01.2022 There is a new Australian visa becoming available to New Zealanders in the not too distant future. You might be eligible if you: - are a New Zealand citizen; - have been a resident of Australia for the 5 years immediately prior to applying;... - have contributed to Australia economically, evidencing taxable income at a specified minimum (TSMIT); - can meet mandatory health, character and security checks. Feel free to comment below if you are a NZ citizen who is interested in applying, and we will be sure to send you more information about this visa as it becomes available.
05.01.2022 Update on 187 RSMS eligibility in Western Australia: The WA Labor Party are looking to be in the running to win the state election on the 11th of March. If they win, they have advised that they intend to remove Perth from eligibility for the RSMS visa. This will limit the options for those who are qualified but with minimal work experience (such as student graduates and overseas skilled workers), who are wishing to be sponsored by a company. ... This means that only the 457 temporary visa would initially be available for the first two years in Australia. As well as this, some occupations are able to be sponsored on the RSMS, but are not on the list for 457's. If you are considering applying for an RSMS visa in Perth, or you have a migrant staff member you wish to keep on, you need to lodge your RSMS application before 11th March to avoid this possible visa closure. Feel free to email us on [email protected] to find out more, or to get your application underway today!
04.01.2022 What's the best thing about Western Australia? We think it's the endless white sandy coastline with crystal blue water. There's always a beach that's got room for your beach towel. 04.01.2022 Why use a Migration Agent to take care of your visa application? Here's some reasons why: 1. YOU CAN AVOID A WHOLE HEAP OF STRESS - migration matters can be very stressful and emotionally painful, particularly when they are unsuccessful. Migration Agents take care of the stress by confidently providing you with the information you need, and taking care of all the details of your application. 2. YOUR APPLICATION MIGHT BE PROCESSED QUICKER - while Migration Agents get no speci...al favours from the government, we do know exactly what is required for a possible quicker visa approval. 3. BECAUSE VISA APPLICATIONS REALLY ARE QUITE COMPLICATED - There's a reason why the profession of Migration Agent exists. Migration law is very complex, some of the most complex in the world. And it changes all the time. Migration Agents ensure they stay up to date with the latest law. 4. MIGRATION AGENTS DON'T RELY ON INTERNET SEARCHES FOR YOUR FUTURE - we are experts at understanding the Migration Act and related legislative tools. We also access government policy that helps us better understand how immigration staff will assess your application, and what they are looking for. 5. YOUR CHANCES OF SUCCESS INCREASE - Migration Agents by law need to be familiar with a vast range of laws, including the Migration Act, Migration Regulations and Migration Policy. In addition to this, they are also familiar with Ministerial Directions, the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, and Federal and High Court decisions. Trusting someone with this amount of information and expertise will surely increase your chances of success. 6. SAVE MONEY - While Migration Agent fees may seem expensive at times, the hours and attention to detail that go into your application are well worth the expense. Having a visa refusal or cancellation can be a very costly experience. Not just costs such as further appeals or visas, but also possible bans from Australia for 3 or 10 years for providing incorrect information. Wouldn't you rather ensure you get it right the first time? Us here at Boab Migration Australia would love to hear from you and get started on your visa application this week.
