21.01.2022 How good is a southerly change....... Sponsored by Bunnings

19.01.2022 ***CHANNEL 10 on WIN*** Channel 10 which we on the south coast receive via the WIN network had changed the way they broadcast and will affect older TVs. If you have messages such as " not supported", "video only" or no picture displayed on channel 8 then continue reading.... Channel 8 (WIN) is now only broadcasting in HD and now requires an MPEG4 compatible runner to receive. If you have an older TV or Set Top Box then you will need to upgrade to an MPEG4 compatible unit receive this channel. This type of change will probably also begin to occur on other networks at varying times as well. I guess this is progress..... Any problems or questions, give us a call

19.01.2022 The latest Tropospheric Ducting forecast shows expected issues with TV reception in the Shoalhaven until around the 3rd of Nov. From our experience, Tropospheric Ducting issues are more prevalent in the coastal villages such as Hyams Beach, Vincentia, Huskisson etc. If you're experiencing pixellation during this period and haven't had any prior to this point then TD may be the cause.

08.01.2022 *** Intermittent TV reception issues in Jervis Bay area *** JAN 2021 Tropospheric or "seasonal" ducting is causing pixelation and dropouts again for anyone with a North facing antenna in and around JB. Worst affected areas are Hyams Beach, Vincentia and Huskisson. Forecast indicates that it'll be pretty hit and miss for TV reception for at least the next 3-4 days. Unfortunately nothing can be done to improve the situation and it's something that we put up with around this tim...e every year. Attached is a link to the forecast site Regards Rod PS please share if you're in the JB area http://www.dxinfocentre.com/tropo_aus.html
