24.01.2022 In the interest of the health and safety of my regular clients and the local community on the Surf Coast I will not be taking on any new clients for the next 4 weeks from the 20/7/20. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. I would also like to ask any returning clients that may have visited Melbourne or the Mitchell Shire in the past couple of weeks to please wear a mask when entering the barbershop and to stay home if you are feeling unwell.... Updated hours are as follows: Tues: 12pm - 4pm Wed: 10am - 5pm Thurs: 10am - 5pm Fri: 10am - 5pm Sat: 10am - 5pm As always bookings can only be made online one day in advance or on the same day reliant on availability. 04.01.2022 To all my friends, clients, mates, Dads, Mums, kids and everyone in between. Looks like we're back in another round of COVID-19 restrictions, thankfully we're not in Melbourne and we still have some kind of freedoms, like getting haircuts. Even though I think we're probably pretty safe down here on the Surf Coast, I'm still going to try my best to keep everyone as safe as possible, at least when you're coming for a haircut. So here are a few things that you all may want to kn...ow concerning what will be happening in the barber shop over the next few weeks. Firstly, the downstairs entrance to Boardriders is the only way you can access the barbershop while the COVID-19 restrictions are in place. Under these tighter restrictions no one is allowed in the restaurant area except for those who work there. Unfortunately this also means that the toilets are off limits, for this I apologise, but it's out of my control. This week I will only be working Saturday the 15th of August, the following couple of weeks I will be working Friday and Saturday. The hours are shorter than usual as Boardriders itself is only open from 10am - 5pm. These will also be the hours available in the barbershop. I imagine the barbershop will be back up and running as per usual around the beginning of September. However, this will most likely depend on the information concerning active cases in Geelong and the Surf Coast. Appointments can only be made online, as per usual, on the day prior to your appointment or the same day (if available). No walk ins will be taken as details needs to be recorded for COVID-19 tracing if anyone who has visited tests positive. Masks will be compulsory for everyone getting a haircut during this time, this includes children. If you refuse to wear a mask, you will be refused the service you booked for. I also ask that if you are feeling unwell or have been in contact with anyone feeling unwell please get yourself tested and isolate until your results come back. Please don't come into the shop. Finally, please understand that the phone number for the barbershop is also my personal number and I would prefer not to be answering phone calls or text messages concerning haircuts. If you can't book online, then there are no available appointments. Your best chance is to try again the next day. In saying this, if you want to call me up because you want to go surfing together or you feel like you need someone to talk to, then please do. I know it's a hard time and not everyone has people they can share with - I'll listen. Anyway, thank you all for understanding, it's not the easiest of times, but it could be much worse.
