09.01.2022 Thank you to the out pouring of love for Boardwalk Books in the Tell Us Why You Love Our Bookshop competition. The winner entry comes from Renee Andrews: Well this is a no-brainer. I love Boardwalk Books Kingscliff because it feels like home. Everyone who works there is lovely and goes above and beyond to source the book I’m after or spend as much time as they can to recommend books when I can’t choose one. If I turn up and ask Katrina what book do you think Christian (my ...husband) will like next she already knows what he has read and is immediately able to recommend several more books. The same thing goes for when I ask for a recommendation for my 11 year old daughter. When my kids were little they loved being able to sit in the store and read the kids book that were left out in the basket. The selection in the store is perfect you have all the books I’m after, gift cards, unique gifts, gifts for all ages and it’s just a lovely shopping experience. I can be sitting at the Foreshore Park having a coffee and realise that I’m due a new book, head over to the store, have a chat with Katrina or Maryann, Bailey and then walk out happy with a new book and possibly a nice educational poster for my kids. You never know what new surprises will be there to take your fancy. I recommend Boardwalk Books to anyone who listens to me and love love love it. Thank you. Congratulations Renee We look forward to seeing you in store to pick up your gift voucher. @loveyourbookshopday #whyyouloveourshop
