25.01.2022 A quick morning fish this morning as the breeze kicked in early.

25.01.2022 This very tired little sea lion may look cute and cuddly but they have a mouth full of sharp teeth that could easily take off your arm. Stay clear of them if you come across one

25.01.2022 No need for a skippers ticket when you hire a boat. WATCH OUT FOR THE ROCKS

24.01.2022 I think I would rather be in a boat than in the water. I wonder what ate this shark.

22.01.2022 Hello to all boating enthusiasts. I have developed a online video tutorial explaining the skippers ticket workbook in easy to understand language. The skippers ticket workbook is not in print any more so the video helps those of us who hate studying via reading on a screen. I have rebranded my business by modernizing my website and calling it easy skippers ticket. Check out my new website and share this post to help all those who yet don't have a skippers ticket. easyskippersticket.com.au

22.01.2022 Young Alex Carr is a great example for young people that want to achieve their goals. Alex past his skippers ticket with almost perfect scores. He studied the workbook before he came which shows in his results. Well done Alex.

20.01.2022 Winter is here and the fish are biting. Dont wait until summer to go fishing, get your skippers ticket now and start catching fish while they are on the chew.

20.01.2022 Recfishwest have spent a lot of time researching where to put these FADS. This time of year the fish are getting upwards of 1meter or 5 kilos plus. Hopefully recfishwest may put some off Mandurah, there were schools of MAHI MAHI at the 90 meter depth 6 weeks ago in 23 degree water temperatures. Good fishing and stay safe

20.01.2022 Still training and assessing during this very difficult times

20.01.2022 Autumn is the best time to get your skippers ticket. Very little winds which makes it a lot easier for you to learn how to be a great skipper. Call for me for more details. 0418955302 If you dont pass you dont pay.

19.01.2022 I would recommend Drew on Jazz characters. If there is fish there Drew will put you on them.

19.01.2022 The water was as flat as it gets out at the FADS yesterday

19.01.2022 Fishing alone near your home is still okay but no travelling to regional areas. Stay safe

19.01.2022 I departed from the woodmans point boat ramp this morning at 4.30am with my crew Mark and Josh. We arrived at the FADS at 6.15am and start trolling around. Unfortunately the dolphin fish today didnt want anything that we had on the menu. We then came in to the 100 meter depths to do some jigging. Josh dropped down and was hooked up with in minutes, he only managed to bring a small portion of the fish in as the sharks ate the rest. 2nd drop and the same thing only the shark took the fish and the jig this time. The wind was now blowing at 15 knots so we headed back to shore for ice cream.

18.01.2022 Spring is almost here. Let’s go boating now as the winds are light and the fish are biting. Get your skippers done now before the rush.

15.01.2022 I thought I would share the latest newsletter from Mandurah marine rescue. Please log on with them and log off when you get back safe.

13.01.2022 Thanks Bluewater marine in Bunbury for such a great job re-powering my boat with the latest 200 horse power Murcury outboard.

13.01.2022 The smallest mistakes can cause the biggest problems. There are so many things that you need to remember when it comes to boating.

13.01.2022 WA water police have confirmed today that it is not illegal to take your boat out. Same social distancing rules apply. Be considerate of those who may have to come and rescue you if things dont go to plan. Lots of poor information on Facebook at the moment so go straight to the source for the correct information. I have been guilty of believing some of that poor information.

12.01.2022 Now is the time to get your skippers ticket. There are very low winds at the moment which makes it easy for me to train you and makes it a good time for you to learn how to be a good skippers

12.01.2022 Boats definitely aren't for everyone

10.01.2022 I had to go fishing this morning due people not showing after booking a skippers ticket assessment. ( Rude ) Poor me on such an amazing day in Mandurah The big King George whiting, I caught last day before the demersal ban came in. 55cm The little fellas were caught in the Mandurah estuary today.

10.01.2022 The bait prices are about sky rocket due to cost of containers. Blue mackerel comes from NZ and could be $100.00 per 25 KG box This price increase could mean bait is above what people are prepared to pay which could then increase pot raiders.

08.01.2022 It doesnt get much better than this. This pod of dolphins are a different species than the ones found close to the coast, a lot smaller.
