19.01.2022 Sitting at Home thinking about something to keep me Busy in Isolation and I came up with some important things you should do while your Boat is in Lay Up. 1. Ea...t all left over Easter Eggs for Energy. 2. Spray Motor/Motors and Trim/Tilt Rams with good quality protectant spray Like CRC MARINE. 3. Move Steering Wheel a few times left to right to stop Steering Controls from freezing up. 4. Operate Trim/Tilt up and down several times. 5. Operate Trim Tabs if you have them. 6. Run Motors 15mins. 7. Also if leaving for some time think of putting Trailer up on Blocks to relieve pressure on tyres. 8. If you have Insurance think about putting Boat in Lay Up and Save some Money. HAPPY BOATING STAY HOME STAY SAFE>

Last week a Boatcatch customer made contact asking for a new Boatcatch EYE after a road accident. Here is his story. Hey Boatcatch, ... Thanks for the support. I have nothing but praise for the Boatcatch product. I unfortunately had a mishap with my 21ft voyager. We came over a crest on a road and got the devil fishtails, then after 15 side to side flicks the trailer hit the bank on the side of the road. This caused the transom straps to break. Then the boat got flicked off the side of the trailer. This caused the winch strap to break and all pressure to go on the Boatcatch. To my surprise the BOATCATCH HELD STRONG until finally the winch post broke off the trailer. Winch post then stayed connected to the boat via the Boatcatch and the boat rolled over..... UNBELIEVABLE! Later I went up and disengaged the catch mechanism and it released like nothing had happened. I pulled the winch post out of the fibreglass on my boat. The Boatcatch eye was bent but intact.... . We then lifted the boat with a crane on to a truck by THE BOATCATCH EYE! UNBELIEVABLE ! I would have no hesitation to recommend the Boatcatch system to anyone. I have included the few photos I have of the boat being lifted and will send some of the front damage as well.
