24.01.2022 We would like to thank all fishers for observing the snapper and pearl perch closure This annual closure aims to provide protection for snapper while spa...wning and helps to rebuild these depleted stocks. Snapper and pearl perch are now open to fishing. Remember that snapper have a possession limit of 4 per person with no more than 1 over 70 cm. There is boat limit of 8 snapper and no more than 2 over 70 cm when there are 2 or more people onboard. The minimum legal size for snapper is 35cm. Pearl perch must be at least 38cm and has a possession limit of 4 per person.
