10.01.2022 Disappointing that Council come and surveyed the views of local residents who said by majority that they liked having the campers about but Council needed to regulate. It appears Council have taken the easy option after deciding earlier this year to regulate camping have now chosen to ignore the majority and implement the ban. If that is not enough we then get this condescending video referring to residents as bread and butter that keep the area going....At the behest of lo...cals Council itself refused to run a planning application for the use because they said the use had been in place so long that it predated any planning scheme.........it appears some Councillors were jaded that when they wanted to come to the popular beach in the middle of summer they found it hard to get a park and have blamed the campers for the over popularity of the place....so disappointing....
